Diana and Sergey’s wedding celebrations took place in September of last year, at the luxury 5 star Lotte Hotel, Moscow. Calling it one of the largest weddings in the season with the longest, most exciting preparation in their history, We Do Agency shares details about this gorgeous wedding. Take a look at this stunning couple’s wedding and swoon over the extravagance of the bridal gown, reception space, floral decor, and more!
The Couple
“She is confident and sensual. He is purposeful and romantic,” says Inna Faleva of We Do Agency, describing the bride and groom. During the wedding preps and planning, the We Do team got to know the couple and learn what makes their relationship so beautiful.
Sergey and Diana’s story began seven years ago in Monaco. Meeting through a mutual friend, their attraction towards each other was unmistakable. Their chemistry made it so easy to fall in love, and before they knew it, they sailed through five years together. Without wasting any more time, Sergey asked Diana’s parents for their blessings and finally popped the question! You can guess what the answer would have been…
A Showstopping Dress
Diana’s dress was probably one of the most stunning bridal pieces yet and has caught us in an absolute daze! With a royal train sliding down Lotte Hotel’s large staircase, the gown by itself made a great subject for the photographer to capture. The dress was embellished in a shimmering beaded pattern with netted sleeves that added a delicate touch to the grandeur of the skirt. Having a detailed design and a gorgeous bride, the look was complete with a natural touch of makeup and minimal jewelry.
The Venue & Date
Sergey and Diana’s reception took place at the impeccable Lotte Hotel on September 4th, 2021. The pair wanted to tie the knot a year earlier, but like many couples in the past two years, they had to push back on sharing their big day with all of their loved ones. With the restrictions delaying their celebration, the couple didn’t want to waste any more time and decided to make it official in a church privately.
After a long wait and multiple changes from concepts to contractors, they finally were able to have their friends and family celebrating with them.
The hotel is located in the heart of the capital, making it easy to accommodate guests comfortably, which they kept in mind while finalizing the venue. Since Diana and Sergey already had their official ceremony, they decided to focus on a celebration their guests can enjoy. The grand affair included spectacular entertainment, ranging from musical performances from a jazz and piano player to the exciting bar skills of a professional mixologist.
The Decor & Planning
With the planning and preparations taking longer than usual due to the pandemic, the team had the advantage of learning more about the sweet couple and the love they share. Using this as inspiration, they created a unique concept for the celebrations, a rich berry palette which they aptly call the ten shades of love!
The guest tables were painted with a gradient decorated with printed menus following the same color theme. To further enhance the concept of love, the floral decor at each table featured pink, purple, and red flowers with hints of white to make a statement. The entire reception hall was decorated with flowers that hung from the black walls, complemented by dramatic chandeliers that provided a strikingly impressive visual. A perfect blend of contemporary and vintage romance.
These beautifully captured moments are what we love about love!
From the berry tones and stunning venue ambiance to the bridal dresses and the couple, of course, everything about this wedding celebration has us in our feels and experiencing the romance. The We Do Agency truly created magic with this stunning concept and gave Diana and Sergey a memorable evening with their loved ones.
