With a traditional phera on December 1, 2018, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas paid respect to the community where they initially got married, and it cost $40.8 million. The bride’s magnificent crimson Sabyasachi lehenga, which was made to order by 110 embroiderers in Kolkata over the course of 3,720 hours, was chosen for the special event. Completing the lehenga were French knots made of silk floss, layers of threadwork, and tiny hand-cut organza flowers. The two also got hitched in a Christian ceremony presided over by Nick Jonas’ father, Paul Kevin Jonas, in keeping with his upbringing. That bride’s journey to the altar was one she will never forget.

The Umaid Bhawan Palace served as the venue for the ceremony, and the property’s opulent setting was ideal for such a magnificent event. Ralph Lauren, Priyanka’s close friend and the couturier who created the couple’s ensembles for their 2017 Met Gala appearance, created personalized looks for the bride and groom as well as their families; 12 bridesmaids, 12 groomsmen, and four flower girls.

After opulent wedding festivities in Rajasthan, Priyanka and Nick enjoyed a grandiose reception in Delhi. The nature-inspired decorations, which included candles, branches, and flowers, created a lovely scene, but the newlyweds really stole everyone’s hearts. One of the notable personalities among the evening’s 500 attendees was Mr. Narendra Modi, the Indian Prime Minister.

On December 11, 2017, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli exchanged vows in Italy, where the opulent ceremony cost $10 million. In an interview, Anushka Sharma expressed her emotions and said, “We wanted to have a home-style wedding. There were only 42 people there, with all our friends and family present. I wanted it to be about Virat and me marrying each other and not this big celebrity wedding. The energy at our wedding was blessed. “

The power couple’s wedding celebrations were officially launched with the engagement ceremony, where they exchanged rings in front of a backdrop draped in the form of plants while Ed Sheeran’s romantic song “Thinking Out Loud” serenaded the audience.

For the main wedding ceremony, a mandap decorated in vintage style with a canopy of flowers and lanterns with candles was employed. The wedding decorator, Devika Narain, chose a colour scheme of powder blue, soft pink, and lavender. The atmosphere, which was inspired by the ideas of expansion and riches, was designed to resemble an overgrown garden. Each guest received a collection of beautiful poems by Rumi, in keeping with the spiritual nature of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. This gorgeous wedding was the result of 45 days of arduous effort by our employees, who imported flowers from Holland and delicate attire from India.

The wedding, which cost around $1 million, was the most lavish and expensive of the new millennium. The couple used 50,000 roses, wisteria, tulips, and lotus flowers to make the entire Malibu estate look like a Zen garden for their wedding. The pair were congratulated by Courteney Cox, Salma Hayek, Edward Norton, David Spade, and Kathy Najimy, who were all on the guest list.

The gorgeous bride slipped into an Italian designer, Lawrence Steele’s, floor-length, white satin and silk bridal gown with glass beads and a low back. She entered the ceremony wearing a pair of ivory suede Manolo Blahnik heels that were crafted especially for her. A pearl and Swarovski crystal crown were affixed to her with a veil.

The couple’s 13-minute fireworks display, which was let off by a barge floating in the Pacific as the grand finale, helped to establish a significant wedding tradition for years to come.
