A Glam Destination Wedding In Bali With Romantic Baby’s Breath Details

There are a LOT of unbelievable details about Marianne & Charlie’s wedding, the least of which being that it was planned in less than 6 months. But hey, when you know you know! And we’re talking about the bride’s insanely gorgeous dress and ultra-romantic styling.

The wedding took place on the 3rd of June 2019 at The Ungasan Clifftop Resort, Bali. The bride’s love for baby’s breath combined with impeccable styling by Global Weddings & Diane Khoury is what made this dream wedding possible.

From the heavenly arch and aisle to the table runner, chandeliers and the cake, get some serious baby’s breath inspiration from this glamourous real wedding.

Kindness transpires loves and this is certainly clear as the groom says – “From the moment I first spoke to Marianne, I was taken by her sweet nature and kindness.”

Look at those details! Her ‘Collins’ gown by Leah Da Gloria Couture 2020 Collection was everything a bride could ever dream of! Beautifully handcrafted in the Leah Da Gloria Couture studio in Sydney that took 8 months in making, it really was both classically elegant yet modern. Combining a mixture of different sized pearls and beading, tulle, lace, and silk with a strapless sweetheart neckline, it fit Marianne like a glove which is the Leah Da Gloria signature fit; flaring out into a fantastic long dramatic peacock pattern like a train.

Marianne was very certain in regard to her styling; she just loved baby’s breath and wanted an accent of white floral blooms and the softening look of romantic magical billowing chiffon. The baby’s breath added a romantic and ethereal softness to the ceremony – what we imagine it would be a little like exchanging vows above the clouds.

Over the designing stages with Diane Khoury, Global Weddings floated a few different concepts to the couple before finally deciding on the individual overhead structures rather than a full roof structure. Elegant yet luxurious and chic is how we can describe this beautiful wedding.

The ceremony took place at the famous Villa Tamarama, at The Ungasan Clifftop Resort. The guests arrived walking through the Colonial Styled House into the living room to the most divine ocean view, down the stairs and past the pool and tropical greenery to the longest aisle for the most spectacular bridal entrance showcasing her legendary train.

Rose gold accents ruled the reception table. It was a beautiful evening and the use of baby’s breath gave it a soft ethereal touch. The table name settings were hand torn parchment paper with gold writing and the Drinks Menu and Seating plan were matched.

The Reception was held at the Selatan Lawn where 115 guests were present. Luscious runners of baby’s breath were paired with tapered candles and crystal glassware. The end result for the setup and space used was nothing short of spectacular. It looked magical!

The couple decided on a very classic cake, 4 tiers with the traditional white fondant icing. Unknown to Marianne, the cake was styled in the same pattern as it was on her dress. It was a wonderful surprise and looked incredible when they cut the cake under the baby’s breath floral feature with hanging crystals suspended from the coconut palms above the dance floor.
