How difficult is it to get married in Bali?

Bali is a religious island. So while it is possible to have a civil or legal ceremony here, the latter does have a few boxes that need to be checked first. If you’re looking to have your wedding legalized in Bali, you need to hold a religious ceremony and keep the required documents, including your passports and those of two of your witnesses, your birth certificates, and a letter of non-impediment from your home country’s embassy. For your marriage certificate, you will need eight 4x6cm photos. Additionally, if this isn’t your first wedding, you may need proof of a divorce or death certificate.
What’s the best season for a tropical Bali wedding?
Bali’s proximity to the equator makes it an ideal location for a tropical wedding. With the wet and dry seasons being the two main seasons of Bali throughout the year, you may want to opt for the latter when planning your ‘I dos.’ The best times to be in Bali would be during April, May, June, and September.
