The craze and fascination of the Northern Lights is surreal. You might have seen it all over Instagram and quite possibly it would be way up in your bucket list too. But being a natural phenomenon, one can’t exactly predict when you’d be lucky to see the once-in-a-lifetime view of the stunningly lit sky. Have you given a thought to what would happen when you’re able to catch the Northern Lights in its full glory on your big day? Well this was exactly what happened at a wedding in Inverness, Scotland.
The bride and groom Rebecca and Chris were enjoying their wedding after party at Bogbain Farm, when Michael Carver, the couple’s wedding photographer was packing up and ready to wrap up when he caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights. He immediately pulled the couple out of the party and got them outdoors to capture the ‘picture perfect’ moment. It was definitely a lucky day for the couple, and kudos to the photographer who helped create a timeless memory for them.
In an Instagram post, Michael shared that he was able to get a couple of shots before the lights started to fade. “Chris and Rebecca were over the moon, I’ve waited years for a moment like this and everything seemed to align – a little geeky but for me it was a really special moment” he shared.
