Raúl, a doctor by profession met the love of his life, Valeria, a veterinarian & tennis lover, during his high school days. And ever since, they have been inseparable. Continuing their journey through school and college, they supported each other’s dreams and vision while bringing out the best of each other in the worst days. Well, that’s what true love is all about, isn’t?
To say Costa Rica is beautiful is an understatement. It’s a country with exquisite natural beauty that offers a wide range of ideal sceneries and shades of endless blue. The couple loves nature and peace, and they wanted to say ‘I do,’ overlooking the stunning landscapes of the mountains of Costa Rica, hence they chose Hacienda VargasÙ as their wedding venue.
Valeria loves succulents, and following her instructions, Cristina Salazar made sure they are present everywhere; in the food, in the bouquet, cake, and in other details. As an identifier for the table, Cristina selected tree names from Costa Rica. To give a unique and personal touch, a log was used for the guests to put their fingerprints as their signature. The centerpieces had mini logs with flowers, something simple but cute. For the toast, each guest opened a fortune cookie which had a ‘Thank You’ message from the bride and groom for their auspicious presence. The evening ended with a grand carnival that had colored drums.
The couple expressed their gratitude on the same night of the wedding about the relentless efforts of Cristina Salazer for planning their dream wedding. Cristina, who loves attending our DWP Congress said, “They didn’t have time to organize anything about the wedding, they put the wedding on my hands and at the end of the night they couldn’t be more grateful. It fills my soul.”
