Their soulmate, their better half, that one perfect match. And if you don’t, this love story will surely change that. Christine Hammon and her brilliant team at ChrisFête Events have shared the story of Moriah and Phillip with beautiful images of their grand celebration. Read about how they met, where they tied the knot, and the inspiration behind the grand setups.
How They Met
Now, this is a fun love story you’re going to enjoy. The gorgeous bride Moriah gave us all the deets on the couple’s first interaction, how she learned he was an NFL player, and when they made it official. It all started in the Spring of 2016 when Phillip slid into her DMs via Instagram, where they were already following each other.
While Phillip, or her “sexy chocolate man” as Moriah likes to call him, continued their conversation, Moriah admitted to stalking his profile. (We’ve all been guilty of doing that, don’t try to deny it). This is how she found out who he is and what he does for a living. That’s not it though, because she also found out that Phillip played for the Indianapolis Colts, the team representing her hometown! How crazy cool is that?
After a few days of getting to know each other, Phillip finally asked the question. Which one? Nope, it isn’t what you might be thinking… He asked her for her, wait for it… name! At the time, Moriah’s IG account didn’t have her name mentioned, so maybe give the guy some slack. Although, it did make for a cute and funny story that the bride loves to talk about.
On Moriah’s 25th birthday, Phillip made it official by asking her to be his girlfriend. By this time, they were four months in and he took her to watch his game that night. The couple then made their relationship IG official in September 2016, and that was just the beginning of forever together.
The Venue
Now coming to the details of the main event. The star couple decided to get hitched on June 26th this year. They selected the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, a stunning hotel with an on-site golf course and water park. The bride said they were looking for timeless elegance and wanted to give their friends and family an experience right from the start. Well, we think they nailed it! A classy and opulent setup with soft floral and beautiful lighting created the perfect feel of the romance between the two.
The Wedding Decor
For the ceremony decor, the bride’s vision was to go all white. The thought was “white, heavenly, dreamy” with added accents of gold and pops of mauve and blush for some dramatic flare contrasting against the classy elements. The gorgeous blooms of white and mauve were supported by sleek gold structures that enhanced the delicate detailing into something grand. Putting all of this together, Chris Harmon and her team sure did a fantastic job with bringing this bride’s vision to life. And of course, the master behind capturing all of it was the amazing Travis Daniels who also worked with the couple on their engagement shoot.
The Inspiration Behind It
Chris says her inspiration for everything was the couple themselves. She shares that there was something sweet and gentle about the love they have for each other that she wanted the guests to feel it too. A soft, romantic experience for all their family and friends to take home.
