Lily Collins Ties The knot In An Intimate Colorado Retreat And The Dress Is Drop Dead Gorgeous!

‘I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife,’ wrote the Emily in Paris star

Sure Emily would have chosen Paris as her wedding destination, but the real-life Emily – ‘Lily’ chose the mesmerizing springs of Colorado for her special day.

Earlier this week on September 4th, Emily in Paris star Lily Collins surprised her 23 million Instagram followers by revealing she had gotten married over Labor Day weekend to the director and screenwriter Charlie McDowell.

The enchanting fairytale wedding took place at Colorado’s Dunton Hot Springs, a luxury ranch situated in a former 1800s ghost town. The photographer Cedar & Pine, made up of husband and wife duo Nate & Megan Kantor, captured the celebration and the Ralph Lauren Dress that Lily wore just makes us go ‘aww…!’

The Dress: The bride wore custom Ralph Lauren, joining a very select group of individuals for whom the American house has designed wedding gowns, among them Priyanka Chopra and Lauren Bush Lauren. The groom also wore a velvet Ralph Lauren Purple Label suit. Crafted of French Calais-Caudry lace weaved on the Leavers loom, a celebrated 19th-century English invention known for producing the finest patterned lace, the turtleneck gown and hooded cape, which also features Swarovski-beaded flowers and silk organza petals, took more than 200 hours to complete.

The Venue: The backdrop of Lily Collins’s wedding photos looked like they could be a modern-day Ansel Adams photograph: a waterfall flowing down a rocky expanse, Aspen trees in the background. Sure, the Emily in Paris actor, in her Ralph Lauren gown, and her husband were the most eye-catching things in the shot. But nature was a close second.

Dunton Hot Springs is a remote luxury resort outside of Telluride, Colorado. It is nestled into an alpine valley with expansive views of the San Juan mountains. As the name implies, there are five natural hot spring areas on the 1600-acre property—one is even housed in a restored bathhouse. The venue often hosts weddings and offers couples the chance to exclusively rent out the entire camp for the special day with personalized menus crafted by the in-house chef and luxury accommodations for up to 40 guests.

Much love & congrats to the newlyweds! ❤️
