It is true that love knows no boundaries. Culture, location, age and now in recent times even COVID cannot stop two souls from uniting. And such was the story of Flora and Shree. FLORA & SHREE’S BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY
Both Flora and Shree live in New York. They met and grew fond of each other thanks to their mutual love for ping pong! Before getting married Flora was born in Korea and was then adopted by a French family and moved to Florence, Italy. Shree on the other hand was born in India and then moved to the United States.
The couple got married virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic in the presence of close families and friends on Zoom, which is why they decided to hold an intimate vow renewal ceremony to celebrate their union.
THE QUAINT VENUE & SETUP
Since Flora had a deep connection with Florence and Shree had never been to the destination, the couple decided to host their ceremony here. The celebrations were held at Villa Corsini A Mezzomonte which is an ancient villa among the Chianti Hills in Florence. Tranquility and serenity surrounds the venue making it the perfect choice for this intimate vow renewal.
The dinner table was beautifully set up with candles, delicate tableware and an array of white floral arrangements that accentuated the beauty of the venue.
THE CELEBRATIONS
Given their love for ping pong, there was a ping pong table set up in the garden of the villa where both Flora and Shree played a game themselves, and guests too had a chance to play and enjoy!
The couple then celebrated with their guests by commemorating their special day by cutting a gorgeous cake. The couple along with their families and friends then let themselves loose on the dance floor and danced the night away.
