Nicolas & Ayla just tied the knot in a lavish 3-day celebration in the ‘eternal city’ of Rome with an attendance of over 200 of their friends and family that arrived from all over the Middle East, Europe and USA to witness the exceptional day of their love story. Micheline Diab, Founder of Giritaly along with an International team of stylists, architects and vendors transformed their dream into a timeless and sophisticated occasion.
The festivities were launched with a pre-wedding get-together dinner in an exclusive villa located at the heart of the Parco Regionale dell’Appia Antica. The lush locale is also known as the old Roman Appian Way, one of the most significant and historic roads of Rome. A typical Italian themed party was planned to perfection with the finest delicacies immersed in the rustic charm of the vast olive fields surrounding the property.
The wedding ceremony was celebrated in the majestic Church of San Martino ai Monti, a 4th century masterpiece that is filled with frescoes and architectural monuments.
Following the regal ceremony, the guests moved to an unforgettable wedding reception in the magnificent Castello Odescalchi di Bracciano, a 15th century castle that houses a historical museum and overlooks the breathtaking Bracciano Lake which is the second largest lake in the region.
The concept was formed to highlight the bride and groom’s style and vision in a modern yet timeless creation which was beautifully captured by the lens of the innovative team at Morlotti Studio Padova.
The fairylike setting bursting with masses of orchids, gold accents, Roman Medici accessories and countless candles created a sense of awe on each guest’s face as they entered the castle’s court.
The party started with a tasteful show by the incredible band, “The Goldsingers” who flew in from Paris, to perform at the glorious wedding reception. They were then joined by the many acts of the talented artists from Nu’Art.
Themed entertainment, interactive acts and exquisite catering transformed the evening into a once in a lifetime celebration for the couple and all their loved ones.
