We are thrilled to be sharing with you this beautiful and exclusive photoshoot in the paradisiacal location of Tulum, Mexico. Beautifully planned & designed by our very own member of the DWP familia, well known destination wedding planner Simone Tostes from Aonde Casar in Brazil, this photoshoot was done in collaboration with one of the most well known and talented photographers in the industry, husband-wife duo Sam & Rayana Sacramento from Sam Sacramento Photography based in USA & Italy.
Recently Simone & Sam had the pleasure of collaborating on a unique project with the family-run boutique hotel Jashita, located in Soliman Bay, Tulum, Mexico. This hotel is a true gem, founded by an Italian family passionate about Riviera Maya. The owner, Mr Enrico, discovered the beauty of this region in the 1990s and decided to build his house in this secluded bay, which later became Jashita.
Over three unforgettable days, the duo together captured the magic of this stunning location. From the bride’s preparation at the beachfront spa to the romantic photoshoots on the private beach and in the luxurious villas, each moment was filled with beauty and authenticity.
The photoshoot was a unique experience, immersed in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Jashita. The hotel is an extension of the Italian family’s home that founded it, and this is reflected in every detail, from the interior design to the Italian influences throughout the property.
The Couple’s Story
Jasmine and Luca met at boarding school in Switzerland where they formed an inseparable friendship, developing a special connection through their love of traveling and cinematography.
After going on trips together to remote parts of the world like rural Myanmar, they realized what they had was truly special. Their deep sense of awe and respect for one another grew into a relationship which took both of them to the United States, going to the same university.
After graduating they wanted to commemorate the blossoming of their love through a romantic getaway to Tulum with a photo shoot on this pristine secluded beach at sunset. They wanted the location to reflect their many adventures together and their Italian English roots.
