Shachi & Arun are one such couple who compliment each other with their opposite skill sets. Shachi is organized, impatient, and efficient whereas Arun is relaxed, easy-going, and flexible. This is essential in any marriage to be successful – working together, listening, compromising, and understanding. It was a beautiful Hindu and Guyanese Indian wedding in the UK planned by an expert team at Radhika & You.
The couple knew they wanted to get married in Wales, as that is where Shachi grew up and they both loved the idea of a natural setting. They wanted a day where everyone felt they were truly involved and escaped the city life for a bit. They looked at lots of venues and they selected ‘The Manor’ based on its capacity and views. It’s really a tucked-away gem! The natural greenery found its way into their mandap design as well as Shachi’s outfit that had intricate leaf and flower patterns.
The beguiling floral and green mandap is our favorite part. A perfect blend of red roses with pastels, with just the right touch of green leaves inside a gorgeous marquee, gave all the dreamy vibes to this Indian wedding. The wedding invites were designed and created by underprivileged children at Manav Sadhana, an NGO working towards the upbringing of the local people and providing them with better living facilities. We adore the beautiful ceremony leaflets created that had an image of Radha-Krishna, the timeless Gods of Love in Hindu mythology symbolizing the couple’s eternal love for each other.
