What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

After 17 years photographing weddings, I’m still inspired by every couple’s unique story. Experiencing different cultures, traditions, and destinations keeps celebrations inspiring, while preserving moments for future generations gives lasting purpose.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

If I had to choose one destination, it would be Venice, Italy. There’s simply nowhere else quite like it. The city is full of romance, history, and beauty, with canals, old buildings, and incredible light around every corner. What I love most is that some of the best photos happen naturally while exploring the city, whether it’s wandering quiet streets, taking a boat ride at sunset, or enjoying the calm of an early morning. Venice feels both grand and intimate at the same time, which makes it endlessly inspiring to photograph.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

One venue that stands out is Castiglion del Bosco, a Rosewood Hotel in Tuscany. Surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, and beautiful countryside, it feels like the Tuscany people dream about. The property offers a great mix of natural landscapes, historic architecture, and elegant spaces, making it incredibly versatile for photography. No matter where you turn, there’s a beautiful backdrop. It’s a venue full of character, and I would happily photograph more weddings there.

In ONE word, how would you describe your photography style? Share a wedding photo with us that resonates with the style?

Intentional

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

Rather than one specific person, I’m inspired by creatives who approach weddings as more than just events to document. I admire photographers and filmmakers who tell meaningful stories, create emotional images, and bring inspiration from fashion, cinema, architecture, and travel into their work. What resonates most with me is work that captures not just what a wedding looked like, but what it felt like to be there.

Anastasia Woolmington, Serenity Photography, Italy

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

Every wedding is a new story, and that is what keeps the magic alive for me. It begins with a place, and then two people step into it – and my gift is freeing them from the camera, so they are simply present, and that is what I photograph.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

Lake Como, without hesitation. The light off the water flatters everyone, the villas and gardens offer centuries of romance, and there is nothing quite like drifting out on a classic wooden boat at golden hour – the couple framed against the lake, the mountains soft behind them. In minutes, you can move from grand and cinematic to quiet and intimate. It is the perfect co-star: breathtaking, yet never overpowering the couple at its heart. It never fails to give me something new.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

I have had the privilege of photographing at so many extraordinary venues – Villa Erba, Villa Pizzo, the Ritz Paris, Château de Challain, Villa Gamberaia – and each brings its own character to a wedding. But if I had to choose one, it would be Villa del Balbianello. It is pure cinema. Wherever you turn, another frame is waiting. I could photograph there endlessly and never run out of ways to see it.

In ONE word, how would you describe your photography style? Share a wedding photo with us that resonates with the style?

Cinematic

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

It would be José Villa. What resonates with me is his restraint – the way he trusts light and emotion to carry an image, without ever over-styling or over-working it. His work feels timeless rather than trend-driven; you could not date it to a particular year, and I think that is the highest compliment you can pay a wedding photographer. He proved that a fine-art sensibility belongs at the heart of this industry, and that quiet, beautiful, deeply felt imagery will always outlast whatever is fashionable. That philosophy is very close to my own.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

This is a hard question as there are so many choices, but let me answer this by country, and that would be Italy, up and down

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

It takes a village for a beautiful wedding to come together, including the couple. It’s impossible for me to single out one person.

Benjamin Wheeler, United Kingdom

Corbin Gurkin, Corbin Gurkin Photography, USA

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

The people. Every couple brings a unique experience, energy, and set of relationships that always come as a nice surprise when I am photographing. Finding that intersection of beauty and emotion is where I think my work excels.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

Recently, I’ve found myself especially inspired by the English Countryside. Over the past spring/summer season, I’ve photographed two very different celebrations there, and both reminded me why the region is such an extraordinary setting for weddings and couple photography. I’m a gardener, so the environments really inspire me, and there’s a great deal of texture to the interiors.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

I was at Soho Farmhouse last weekend and loved that property! A couple walking through the tall grasses dotted with poppies – yes, please. If you take a quick flight to Ireland, Adare Manor is also a consistent favorite for me.

Danilo & Sharon, Italy

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

It’s the thrill of the unknown. Every destination brings a constant shift of landscapes, cultures, and incredible human stories that make every single wedding a brand-new adventure.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

We always go back to Lake Como because the dramatic scenery and old-world villas give off a moody, effortless romance that perfectly matches our style of shooting real stories with a high-fashion feel.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

The raw, unpredictable energy of a safari in South Africa adds a completely unique character to our photos, and we’d love more opportunities to bring our style to wild, exciting new destinations like that.

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

We love looking a bit outside our immediate industry for inspiration, often pulling creative ideas from old movies and timeless fashion imagery to bring a fresh perspective to our work.

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

Wedding photography allows me to live an extra life each time. Through love, culture, and celebration, I witness how the world evolves. Finding something new in every wedding and preserving it at its best is always my promise to each couple. This is Magic

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

If I could recommend only one destination, I would choose Amangiri. Or perhaps the Moon, as it has not been overused yet. Beyond the irony, I believe every place has its own reason, and a great photograph is never only about the destination. It is about how a couple inhabits that space, how the light transforms it, and how the story becomes connected to the landscape.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

Hôtel du Cap Eden Roc. Some venues do more than host a wedding; they give it a visual language. This place has history, glamour, and that effortless Mediterranean feeling I love.

In ONE word, how would you describe your photography style? Share a wedding photo with us that resonates with the style?

Elegance

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

I would say Chanel Haute Couture. Not only for the beauty of the dresses, but for the discipline, the craft, and the idea of elegance behind every creation. What resonates with me is the way everything feels timeless, yet always alive. It reminds me that wedding photography should not simply document beauty but preserve the gesture, the detail, and the soul of a moment.

Elisabetta Marzetti, Italy

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

The people. I’m inspired by the wonderful couples and families I get to meet. I seem to attract genuinely kind people, and that never stops feeling special. Beyond that, I stay inspired through travel, art, music, learning, yoga, and meditation.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

I’ve photographed in many beautiful places, but there’s something truly special about Lake Como. The villas are unlike anything else in the world, offering breathtaking gardens, elegant interiors, historic architecture, and stunning views over the water. It gives couples an incredible variety of settings while maintaining a sense of harmony and sophistication throughout the story. I live in Milan, so I’m fortunate to spend a lot of time there and know the area very well.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

One venue that immediately comes to mind is Villa K11, part of the Sun Secret Collection, in Cap Martin on the French Riviera.

In ONE word, how would you describe your photography style? Share a wedding photo with us that resonates with the style?

Poetic

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

José Villa. He was one of my very first inspirations when I started my journey in wedding photography, and many years later, his work still resonates with me. What I admire most is his ability to convey a genuine love for what he does while staying true to his vision. His work feels timeless, not because it follows trends, but because it rises above them.

German Larkin, Italy

Greg Finck, France

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

What keeps it exciting for me is that no weddings are ever the same. Every celebration has its own atmosphere, personalities and emotions. Being trusted to document such meaningful moments in people’s lives is a privilege that never loses its significance

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

It would be the Amalfi Coast. It offers a rare combination of dramatic landscapes, timeless architecture, beautiful light, and an effortless sense of romance. Whether wandering through the streets of Positano, cruising along the coastline, or enjoying a quiet moment overlooking the sea, the setting feels cinematic without ever feeling staged. More than anything, the Amalfi Coast has a way of making people slow down and be present with one another, which often leads to the most natural and meaningful photographs.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

One venue that immediately comes to mind is Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. Few places offer such a strong sense of history, elegance, and connection to their surroundings. From the iconic waterfront and Mediterranean light to the pine trees and timeless architecture, every corner provides an extraordinary backdrop without ever overpowering the people in front of the camera. What I appreciate most is that the venue has a distinct identity while remaining incredibly versatile. Whether it’s an intimate celebration or a large-scale wedding weekend, it always brings a sense of character and effortless sophistication to the images. It’s a place I could photograph again and again, and still find new perspectives each time

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

If inspiration had a name for me within the wedding industry, it would be David Stark. What resonates most about his work is his extraordinary creativity and ability to transform spaces into experiences. His designs are never just beautiful; they tell a story, evoke emotion, and create a genuine sense of wonder. I admire the way he constantly pushes creative boundaries while maintaining a strong sense of purpose and refinement. There is always an unexpected element in his work, yet it never feels forced. That balance between imagination and elegance is incredibly difficult to achieve.

Ha Nguyen, France

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

What keeps it magical is that every wedding is different—the emotions, the people, the little unscripted moments. I stay inspired by telling each couple’s unique story, and being surrounded by that kind of love never really gets old.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

If I had to choose just one, it would be Paris. It has this timeless, romantic atmosphere that’s hard to match: beautiful architecture, soft light, and little streets that feel cinematic at every turn. It’s effortlessly elegant, which makes every couple’s story feel like a classic.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

One venue that really stood out to me is Neuendorf House in Mallorca. Its bold, minimalist architecture and earthy tones create such a striking, artistic backdrop perfect for modern, editorial-style wedding photos. It’s definitely a place I’d love to return to.

Documentary

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

If inspiration had a name, it would be @theflab.weddingplanner. What really resonates with me is how they approach weddings as fully immersive visual stories: strong editorial direction, but still emotional and human at the core. Every detail feels intentional, from spatial design to textures and color, which creates this cohesive atmosphere that’s both artistic and alive. There’s also something personal in it for me: the fact that they have Vietnamese roots, as I do. It adds another layer of connection and pride seeing that kind of creative vision coming from a shared background, especially in an industry that’s so global.

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

Wonderful clients and planners, we have the privilege of working with.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

We’re currently in Portugal, and we love everything here—it’s safe to say our latest destination is usually our favorite. When recommending locations, we always look for places where our couples’ hearts can truly sing. We want our couples to be a part of the location, rather than trying to force the location to fit the wedding.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

Vizcaya Museum in Miami is one we can get lost in and photograph forever.

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

After so many weddings, what truly keeps the magic alive for me is the human side of it. The possibility of constantly connecting with new people, discovering new places, and experiencing cultures and traditions I haven’t encountered before.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

I don’t think I can be completely impartial with this answer. There is something about Italy that I never get tired of coming back to — especially some places in Tuscany.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

I recently photographed a wedding at a place I already know I would love to return to: Palais Bulles, on the French Riviera, close to Cannes. It’s honestly one of the most unique places I’ve ever photographed. Built in the 70s, its organic shapes, surreal architecture, and the entire story behind it make it feel like stepping into another world. What I loved the most is the endless amount of layers it offers creatively — every corner, every curve, every change of light gives you a completely different perspective and a new opportunity to create something special. It’s a place where architecture and imagination meet, and as a photographer, those are the spaces that really push your creativity.
I already can’t wait to go back.

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

There are many names that inspire me, but if I had to choose one, especially because of what he has meant for my own journey and for wedding photography as an industry, I would probably say Pablo Laguia.

Katie Julia, United Kingdom

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

That each event is like a new artwork. I love weddings that tell the story of the couple; I find that this keeps me interested and keeps my passion alive. I love shooting film, and this just never gets old to me. It’s always magic to me.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

I adore France!! The stone, the landscape, the golden light. It’s all so beautiful! Especially Provence. not just because it’s where I got married, so I have a personal affinity with it, but because of the tones, textures, architectural beauty, and heritage. The landscape. The light. There is nothing like it.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

I adore my own wedding venue, Bastide de Laurence, and one of my very favourite venues, Borgo San Pietro, which I am photographing at this time of year, is also one of the most beautiful venues ever!

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

I take a lot of my inspiration from art, culture, fashion, history, and places. If I had to name someone in the industry, it would probably be Elisabeth Messina. I bought her book 14 years ago when I was 22. I love Jen Huang too! It’s the painterly bokeh in their film work that resonates with me the most! It is forever timeless and transcends trends!

KT Merry, USA

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

Old world architecture will always call me. The villas and landscapes of Europe are a timeless and stunning backdrop for weddings.

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

I’m very impressed with Alice Wilkes. I have yet to work with her, but her designs and the way she shares her brand is exceptional and something I admire.

Pablo & Ana, Pablo Laguia, Spain

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

There is something that never loses its value: the moment someone entrusts you with their story before it happens. They don’t know exactly how they’ll feel that day. Neither do we. And yet, they trust. That trust compels us to be fully present.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

We are drawn to places that already have a story before you arrive. Kenya, with a light that feels painted. Mexico, with its cultural depth and color. Vietnam, which still surprises us every time. India, which overwhelms you in the best possible way. A ranch in Colorado at sunset. We could go on. But if you force us to choose just one, we’ll tell you this: our favorite destination is always the next one. Because what we are searching for isn’t the perfect place. It’s the love that unfolds within it. And that’s something we have found everywhere.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

What seduces us most about a place is when nature and culture converse without either one raising its voice. Aman achieves this in every corner of the world. Whether you’re in Japan, Bali, or on the coast of Vietnam, each property has such a strong sense of identity that the photographs seem to breathe on their own. You don’t need to search for the frame. The frame is already there.

In ONE word, how would you describe your photography style? Share a wedding photo with us that resonates with the style?

Timeless

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

The inspiration that has shaped us the most doesn’t come from the wedding industry. It comes from photojournalism, from fashion, from cinema. We admire many people within the world of weddings, but what truly moves us is when someone outside of it reminds us that an image can tell a story without explaining it. That’s what we try to bring to every wedding we photograph.

Pia & Chris, The Saums, Germany

Wedding photography is a wonderful mix of documenting human connection, storytelling, atmosphere, and fashion. It is meaningful work that still allows us to be deeply creative.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

For us, Paris is the ultimate destination for a couple’s photo shoot. Art, culture, architecture, a body of water, and the best light – Paris has it all.

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

For us, inspiration comes from many places, both inside and outside the wedding industry. If we had to choose one person, it would be Jose Villa. What resonates most with us is his ability to create photographs that feel effortless and emotional while maintaining an incredible level of refinement. His work proves that luxury doesn’t need to feel staged or disconnected. There’s a softness, authenticity, and timelessness to his imagery that has influenced an entire generation of wedding photographers. More importantly, he has shown that consistency and restraint can often be more powerful than chasing trends

Piermarco Rinaldi, Bottega 53, Switzerland

Roman Ivanov, Roman Ivanov Photography, Italy

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

The people. Every wedding is different because every couple is different. I may photograph a ceremony hundreds of times in my career, but I only photograph their ceremony once. The emotions are always real and impossible to repeat.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

Lake Como, Italy. If I could recommend only one destination, it would always be Lake Como. It has everything: dramatic mountains, elegant villas, timeless architecture, beautiful light, and a sense of effortless luxury. The scenery is spectacular, but it never overpowers the couple—it enhances their story. Lake Como has a cinematic quality that makes every image feel both intimate and iconic.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

It is one of those venues where every corner feels like a movie set. The interiors, the gardens, the waterfront views, the history—it offers endless possibilities for creating editorial and timeless imagery. No matter how many times I photograph there, I always discover something new.

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

Rather than one person, I draw inspiration from the world of fashion photography. If I had to name someone, it would be Peter Lindbergh. His work reminds me that the strongest images are not about trends—they are about people, emotion, elegance, and authenticity. His photographs feel timeless, and that’s exactly what I strive for in wedding photography.

Samm Blake, USA

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

What keeps it alive for me is the people. After more than two decades of photographing weddings, I’ve learned that no two are ever the same. Every wedding is a unique mix of personalities, relationships, family histories, and emotions.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

Honestly, my favorite destination is often one I haven’t been to before. I love arriving somewhere with fresh eyes, full of curiosity, and without preconceived ideas about what the photographs should look like.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

If I had to choose one venue, it would be Hotel Il Pellicano. There are certainly grander properties in the world, but very few have the same sense of character.

Human

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

I’ve always drawn inspiration from photographers who make the extraordinary feel effortless. The people whose work is technically excellent, but whose photographs never feel like they’re trying too hard. What resonates with me most is restraint. The confidence to let a moment breathe, to trust human connection over spectacle, and to create photographs that feel as relevant twenty years from now as they do today. That’s the kind of work I continually strive toward.

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

What keeps the magic alive is knowing that every wedding tells a unique story. Genuine emotions, unexpected moments, and human connections inspire me endlessly and make every celebration feel completely new.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

I love every destination I am called to tell stories in, but Italy is my absolute favourite. It’s not just a destination; it’s a feeling. From the light to the architecture, to the landscapes that change from the mountains to the sea within a few hours… everything already feels like a film set. What I love most is how naturally beauty exists everywhere—you don’t need to create it; you simply have to observe it. And for wedding and couple photography, that authenticity makes all the difference!

Thanos & Anna, Ratta Studio, Greece

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

Even after 15 years, no two weddings feel the same. What keeps the magic alive for us is the people—their stories, emotions, and connections. Every wedding is a chance to create something personal, meaningful, and uniquely theirs.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

Rather than a specific destination, we are drawn to places that make people feel something. The most beautiful photographs are rarely created by a famous landmark alone. They happen when a location evokes a sense of wonder, freedom, nostalgia, or romance. A quiet coastline, an elegant city street, a mountain landscape, or a sunlit terrace can all become extraordinary when they resonate with the couple standing there. If we had to choose just one destination, it would be the Mediterranean. There is a timelessness to it—the light, the sea, the slower pace of life—that naturally invites people to be present with each other.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

Two venues immediately come to mind: Amanzoe in Greece and Passalacqua on Lake Como. Both places have a strong sense of identity and atmosphere that goes far beyond their architecture. Amanzoe offers a rare combination of minimalism, light, and connection to the surrounding landscape, while Passalacqua feels like stepping into another era, with its timeless elegance and extraordinary attention to detail.

In ONE word, how would you describe your photography style? Share a wedding photo with us that resonates with the style?

Refined

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

To be honest, inspiration doesn’t have a single name for us. We are inspired by people more than by photographers. The couples we meet, the families we document, the way different cultures celebrate, the emotions, relationships, and stories we witness around the world. While we admire many talented artists, our greatest source of inspiration has always been human connection. It is what keeps our work evolving and reminds us that the most meaningful photographs are not about trends, but about people.

What keeps the magic alive for you after photographing so many weddings?

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

If I could recommend only one destination, it would be the Amalfi Coast. It offers the perfect combination of dramatic coastal scenery, charming villages, elegant architecture, and incredible light. One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

One venue that stands out is Villa Astor. Its historic character, spectacular sea views, beautiful gardens, and timeless Italian elegance make it an extraordinary setting for wedding photography. Every corner offers something unique, and it’s a venue where I would love to photograph many more weddings and couples’ sessions.

What I admire most is his ability to remain at the top of the industry for so many years, creating images that transcend trends and continue to feel relevant and elegant long after wedding photography styles have come and gone

The people. Every wedding has a unique energy, story, and emotion. Even after hundreds of weddings, we never see it as “just another day.” The connection we build with our couples is what keeps this work meaningful.

Which destination is your favourite when it comes to wedding/couple photography?

Lake Como, of course. It truly feels like paradise on earth. The timeless architecture, breathtaking landscapes, incredible light, and effortless Italian elegance create an atmosphere that is impossible to recreate anywhere else.

One particular wedding venue that added a lot of character to your wedding photos, and where you wouldn’t mind photographing more weddings or couples?

Château de la Croix-des-Gardes. It has such a unique character, combining history, architecture, and the beauty of the French Riviera. The elegance of the property, the gardens, and the incredible views create a setting that feels both luxurious and romantic. Every corner offers something inspiring while still allowing the couple’s story to remain at the center.

In ONE word, how would you describe your photography style? Share a wedding photo with us that resonates with the style?

Timeless

If inspiration had a name, who would it be for you in the wedding industry, and what is it about their work that resonates with you?

A lot of what inspires me and influences my work actually does not come from the wedding industry. I find inspiration in fashion, art, cinema, architecture, and the world around me. For me, the most powerful images are those that go beyond trends, photographs that have emotion, beauty, and meaning even many years later.

SPECIAL MENTION

Jose Villa, USA

An ode to the incredible and iconic Jose Villa, whose artistry and vision have inspired countless photographers across the world. Through his timeless storytelling and distinctive style, he has influenced the way love and emotion are captured through a lens.

As we celebrate his impact on the world of wedding photography, here’s what fellow photographers have to say about the inspiration he continues to bring to their journey:

“Jose Villa’s work resonates with us because it perfectly balances editorial sophistication with honest storytelling. His photographs are elegant, emotional, and truly timeless.” – Gaurav & Priyanka Shukla, Fourfold Pictures

“Jose Villa. What resonates with us most about his work is not only the beauty of the images but the sense of calm, restraint, and humanity behind them. His photographs feel timeless without trying to be loud. They remind us that wedding photography does not need to chase every moment or over-direct every emotion. It can be gentle, observant, and deeply intentional. For us, his work is a reminder that elegance is often found in simplicity and that the most lasting photographs are the ones that allow people, light, and emotion to breathe.” – Khanh-Thinh, The KT, Vietnam

“Jose Villa. He taught me that restraint is a form of respect. In a world where wedding photography often shouts, his work whispers. And somehow says more. – Rajesh Satankar, Knotting Bells
