What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
The moments and memories each couple might miss throughout their wedding day. I’ve always been the friend who captures everything. From the quiet moment a mother shares with her daughter to the emotions on a guest’s face when they see the couple for the first time.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The tears of joy. The emotion that the bride gets to see from all her loved ones is priceless.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
I document the emotions that build up leading up to your wedding day. Known for capturing raw, unfiltered moments, I focus on preserving them just as they were felt in real life. My content allows couples to experience those emotions all over again every time they press play.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
My family inspires me a lot—especially my mom. She’s incredibly supportive of my craft and always reminds me to put myself back into the moment of the wedding day and try to feel exactly how it felt in that moment again. My husband inspires me, too. Whenever I feel stuck while putting an edit together, I think about how I would want our own love story to be shown. I go back to the feeling of our wedding day, and almost instantly that love starts guiding me toward creating the perfect edit—if that makes sense.
Abi Cook, Cooks Bridal, USA
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
I’ve always believed the real magic of a wedding isn’t in the perfectly posed moments — it’s in the in-between ones. The deep breaths, shaky hands, teary glances, quiet laughs… those are the moments that feel the most human and the most honest. That’s where the story truly lives.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
I’m always chasing the moment that feels real — the one that wasn’t planned. The deep breath before walking down the aisle, the way someone’s voice cracks during vows, the quiet look they think no one noticed. If it makes you pause for a second when you’re watching it back, that’s the emotion I’m after.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Authenticity. Couples are embracing real, unpolished moments — and that’s shaping how weddings are being captured and shared this season.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
On days when creativity feels heavy, I try to slow down and remember why I started — to preserve moments that matter. Being invited into such an intimate day is a gift. When I focus on the people in front of me and the love they’re sharing, the pressure fades, and the inspiration finds its way back.
Akintante Durode, Durrode, Nigeria
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
The in-between moments feel the most honest to me. Weddings are full of beautiful, planned scenes, but the real story often happens in the seconds no one is posing for the quiet breath before the bride walks out, the laughter between bridesmaids, or the groom trying to hide his nerves. Those moments are raw and human. As a content creator, I’m drawn to preserving that authenticity because years later, those are the memories couples feel the most.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
I’m always chasing that moment of genuine emotional connection. The second is when someone forgets the camera is there. It might be the groom’s expression when he first sees the bride, a parent quietly wiping a tear, or the sudden laughter that breaks the tension. Those moments give people goosebumps because they’re real.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Couples choosing authenticity over perfection. More weddings are embracing real moments, relaxed timelines, and genuine emotion instead of overly staged experiences, and that shift is making wedding storytelling far more powerful.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Remembering that every wedding day is someone’s once-in-a-lifetime story. Even when creativity feels heavy, the responsibility of preserving those memories pushes me to keep showing up with intention.
Alex & Lois, Content for Brides, UK
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
The realisation that the most meaningful parts of a wedding day often happen between the scheduled ones. The aisle walk and first dance are beautiful, but it’s the seconds in between that hold the real emotion – a deep breath before walking out, a father quietly wiping a tear, friends fixing a veil, or newlyweds catching each other’s eye across the room.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The emotion we’re always chasing is the one that feels unmistakable. Every couple expresses love differently, and what matters most to us is capturing the individuality behind their day – the subtle glances, the inside jokes, the energy they share with the people around them. That’s where the real emotion lives.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
One of the most exciting shifts this season is the return of nostalgic, home-movie style wedding footage. Couples are leaning into camcorders, film grain, and handheld moments that feel raw and personal rather than overly polished. It’s a style that mirrors how people naturally document their lives on social today – imperfect, emotional, and immediate. For us at CFB, it’s the perfect blend of authenticity and storytelling.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
On the days that feel creatively heavy, we lean on each other. Having a team that shares the same creative instinct means we constantly inspire and push one another, whether that’s through a new idea, a different perspective, or simply reminding each other why we love what we do. We’re also endlessly motivated by our ability to find art everywhere we look – in the light, the movement, the details, the people. Once you train your eye to see beauty in the ordinary, inspiration is never too far away.
Anggie Verayanti, Avera, Indonesia
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
When wedding content creation began to emerge, it felt like a natural extension of what I had always been drawn to. Instead of focusing solely on composed frames, we could document the energy, movement, and raw emotion as they unfold. At Avera Wedding Content Creator, this perspective shapes the way we approach every wedding.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
Moments that remind couples just how deeply they were loved that day.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
The shift toward more intentional and present celebrations. Couples are moving away from overly structured timelines and highly staged moments and focusing on creating an experience for them and their guests.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
The reaction from our couples when they see their wedding content for the first time. That moment of pure joy always reminds me why we do what we do.
Antoinette & Darshan, The Insta Shaadi, India
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
To quote Beyoncé Knowles, “Perfection is a disease of a nation.” We always knew real content goes beyond picture-perfect moments. As much as everyone loves larger-than-life photos and videos, what we’ve realised is that the real magic comes from people simply being in their element.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
We have an ongoing series titled “Love in Every Frame” across all the weddings we document. There’s always a moment in every wedding we’ve covered — whether it’s right before the walk down the aisle or during the stolen glances (sometimes even yawning at each other) in the middle of the ceremony — where you can visually see the love between the couple.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Weddings are evolving into immersive experiences, and couples are embracing interactive tuck shops where guests can curate their own room hampers, pick refreshments from the couple’s favourite snacks, and discover the stories behind each item. At the same time, wedding merchandise—custom T-shirts, caps, and wearable pieces featuring iconic lines or inside jokes from the couple—is becoming a playful way for guests to feel part of the celebration.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Each other! We are a couple turned business partners, always ready to hold the fort when the other can’t—personally or professionally—which has become our biggest strength. Whenever we find ourselves stuck, we return to our basics, put our heads down, and show up nonetheless, because love (& some mojitos) always finds a way to move us forward.
Arianna Arnett, Cupid Content Co., USA
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
As someone who has always loved capturing and sharing life’s moments, I was the bride who would have absolutely loved having iPhone behind-the-scenes content from my own wedding day. While I cherished our professional photos and film, I realized there were so many fleeting, in-between moments that existed outside of those frames—moments that truly held the feeling of the day. At the time, wedding content creation was a little-known service in the wedding industry, and I loved the idea of being able to capture weddings authentically for other couples.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
Authenticity is always the emotion I’m chasing. Every couple has their own energy, their own dynamic, their own way of moving through the day. Our goal is to capture moments in a way that genuinely reflects who they are and how the day actually felt. Sometimes that’s the quiet emotion of a first look or a tearful hug with a parent. Other times it’s the unfiltered joy of a packed dance floor.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
A shift we are loving this season is couples letting go of traditional “trends” altogether and leaning fully into what feels authentic to them. The weddings that stand out most right now are deeply personal—bold color palettes, unexpected details, and design choices that genuinely reflect the couple rather than what’s popular online.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
The relationships we build with our couples. As much as our work is creative, it’s also deeply human. We spend so much time getting to know our couples, from their personalities to their families to their story. Oftentimes, those relationships grow into genuine friendships. Being trusted with such an important moment in someone’s life is something I never take lightly.
Ayomikun Adewale, The Content Lab, Nigeria
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
It started unexpectedly. I was filming for a catering client at a wedding, and somewhere in between capturing the details, I completely fell in love with the atmosphere. The couples, the families, the guests, everyone was so full of joy and love.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
That overwhelming sense of love in the room. You can feel it everywhere, in the couple, in their families, in the quiet glances and the loud celebrations. When I am able to capture that energy and someone watching the film feels it through the screen, that is the feeling I am always chasing. I want viewers to experience the day, not just watch it.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Intimacy. There is a clear shift toward smaller, more intentional celebrations. Couples want to truly experience their day rather than simply host an event. That change in energy transforms everything. The emotions feel closer, the moments feel more honest, and the storytelling becomes even more meaningful.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Prayer first, always. Then rest. I’ve learned not to force creativity. Going back to rewatching my previous films helps more than anything. It reminds me that I’ve done it before, and I can do it again.
Berenice & Martin, Donatello, Mexico
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
I’ve always been someone who notices the little moments. Growing up, I was always carrying a camera to family gatherings and events. My grandfather loved documenting life, and I think that’s where it started for me, learning that the simplest moments are often the ones we treasure the most later.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The heart of this service has always been about seeking those intimate moments and being fully present to capture them in the most natural way. On a day filled with so many emotions, you’re surrounded by your favourite people celebrating love.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
A major trend right now is multi-day weddings filled with experiences for guests. Destination weddings have become incredible to witness, as couples and wedding planners are increasingly creating an entire universe for the weekend.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
I journal and completely disconnect. I also love looking at fashion content and browsing Pinterest boards. Watching old films has always been one of my biggest sources of inspiration, I just love the aesthetic. Something else I really enjoy is going through our archives of past work. It reminds me how blessed I am to have such a beautiful job and to witness so many moments.
Captured Mems, USA
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
From the beginning, my approach was never about filming everything. It was about understanding everything. How energy builds in a room. How nerves show up before a ceremony. How laughter travels during speeches. How intimacy exists even inside large-scale luxury weddings.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
Authenticity. We want our couples in our videos to look and come off as they do in real life. We don’t try to stage moments just for a viral video. We want them to be their true, authentic selves, and the rest comes into place. Usually, that’s when the most beautiful moments happen, when we are least expecting them.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
This season’s standout wedding trend is couples skipping traditional bridal parties and choosing intimate pre-ceremony mornings. Either spending a quiet, private morning together or sharing the time with just a parent or sibling.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
When creativity feels heavy, what keeps me creating wedding content is the reminder that my work helps couples preserve their most meaningful moments and inspires others planning their days — that sense of purpose turns effort into something lasting. I’m motivated by the chance to tell real love stories, to solve creative challenges and sharpen my craft, and to connect with a community that values beauty and emotion.
Carmen Di Prima, Italy
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
Simply who I am at my core. I’ve always been a careful observer. I naturally pay attention to what happens around me, the glances, the subtle gestures, the pauses that others might overlook. As a Sicilian, storytelling is deeply rooted in my culture and in my personality. I’m fascinated by the emotion hidden behind what may seem like an ordinary moment. A simple touch or an exchanged look can hold an entire story; you just need to recognize its essence.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The one emotion I’m always chasing is authenticity. I don’t begin a wedding with a predefined emotional outcome in mind. I don’t chase tears just for impact, nor goosebumps as a signature style. What I truly seek is what genuinely belongs to the couple in front of me.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
I would stay in my home, Italy. I feel deeply connected to my roots, and I owe so much to my territory, which has always valued and supported me, offering countless opportunities.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
One of the things that reignites my creativity on challenging days is the awareness of the responsibility I carry. That slight fear of not being enough — the humility of questioning oneself — pushes me to give my absolute best.
Cristina Kaish, Vow Visuals, Spain
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
Honestly, it started while planning my own wedding in Spain. Even though we had both a photographer and videographer, I found myself wanting something different, a way to capture the day from within the experience, exactly as it unfolded, both the big and the small moments. I wanted the little things: my brother hugging me when no one was paying attention, my guests’ reactions during the ceremony, the laughter, and those quick emotional moments that happen in between everything else.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
For me, it’s the reactions. The groom sees his future wife walk down the aisle for the first time. The parents, family, and friends are present during the ceremony when the couple shares their vows. Those moments where the emotion is real, and you can feel it in the room.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Couples are focusing more on authenticity instead of perfection. I’m seeing more couples move away from overly staged timelines and choosing to build a day that actually reflects who they are. More time with their friends and family, more freedom in the schedule, and less pressure for everything to look perfect for the camera.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
The couple’s reaction when they see their wedding content for the first time. Sometimes they laugh, sometimes they cry, and a lot of times they’re surprised by the moments I was able to capture, things they didn’t even realize were happening during the day. Hearing them say how happy they are to have those memories documented is always really meaningful.
Devynn Dominguez, Social Brides Collective, USA
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
What followed was the creation of one of the earliest dedicated teams in wedding content creation. As demand grew, so did the responsibility to define standards, build a collective vision, and shape a new category of real-time wedding storytelling. Based between Chicago and Miami and working globally, Social Brides Collective developed a signature style that blends editorial fashion energy with emotional realism, content that feels intimate, elevated, and culturally fluent without ever slipping into performance.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
Chasing every emotional moment, small and big, that means the most afterwards
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Couples being true to themselves and making their personality come through in their wedding details
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
The beautiful moments we are able to capture and cherish for people to have forever!
Diekololuwa Oluokun, Content With Deekay, Nigeria
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
Seeing how much emotion lives in the moments no one plans for, the deep breaths, the nervous jokes, the quick glances across the room. Those moments feel raw and real, and capturing them feels like preserving the heartbeat of the entire day.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
I’m always chasing that moment when the energy completely takes over the room. The scream when the couple makes their entrance, the dance floor going wild, friends losing their minds in celebration. I love capturing moments that make people watch the video and instantly feel the excitement all over again.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
The shift toward social-first storytelling. Couples still value traditional photography and videography, but they’re now equally excited about capturing the energy of their day in a way that feels immediate and shareable. For me, it’s exciting because it allows us to document weddings not just as events but as experiences full of personality, movement, and unforgettable energy.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
My team motivates me. Creativity can feel heavy sometimes, but when you’re surrounded by people who are just as passionate about creating as you are, that energy becomes contagious. Their dedication reminds me that we’re building something bigger than just one person’s ideas.
Douglas Osei, Osei Douglas Live, Ghana
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
There are a lot of activities on wedding days, brides and grooms sometimes forget the small details and the little things that made them laugh. I realized those candid moments matter, so I decided to develop my craft around them. Seeing those moments at the end of the day gives couples so much joy, and they can share this fast content with family and friends.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The cute laughter, that first glance of the groom as the bride dances through the crowd on their traditional wedding day. When someone says something, it lights up the room. The stories behind why they chose what they wore.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
The little details attached to certain things that the couple chooses.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Seeing the bride getting ready or when she gets excited to see me around.
Elena Rota & Riccardo Casarico, Wedding Raw Memories, Italy
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
The feeling that a wedding day passes incredibly fast. The emotions are overwhelming, and when you’re the one getting married, it almost feels like living inside a bubble. So many beautiful things happen at the same time that it’s impossible to notice everything — small gestures, fleeting glances, tiny details that are part of the atmosphere of the day.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The truth is, we’re not chasing just one emotion — we’re chasing all of them. For us, every wedding video should make you feel something. Whether it’s goosebumps, a tear you didn’t expect, a burst of laughter, or that quiet warmth that comes from witnessing real love. Emotion is what moves people, and that’s what we want to capture in every video we create.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
If we had to spotlight one trend redefining weddings this season, it would definitely be the return of vintage, old-world elegance. We’re seeing couples embrace delicate lace, intricate embroidery, antique-inspired tablescapes, and candlelit, metallics and silver decòr and heirloom details that feel timeless and romantic. These elements create an atmosphere that feels intimate, nostalgic, and deeply meaningful.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
The responsibility we carry. We know we are capturing the memories of one of the most important days in someone’s life. For many couples, this is a once-in-a-lifetime moment, and the images we create will become part of the way they remember it forever. That thought alone pushes us to always give our absolute best.
George Agboti, Reels by George, Nigeria
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
I’m drawn to the in-between moments because that’s where the real emotion lives. Anyone can capture the highlights, but I care about how the day felt — the quiet prayers, the nervous smiles, the tight hugs that last a second longer. As someone who understands how powerful memories are, I don’t just film weddings. I preserve moments that people will hold onto forever.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
Real moments. Family and friends are reacting without knowing the camera is on them. That silent tear that falls during a hug. The unexpected emotions no one rehearsed.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Couples now want content created for the moment — vertical reels, same-day edits, behind-the-scenes clips, guest reactions — not just a long film weeks later. It’s about instant memories. Raw reactions. Moments that can be shared before the night even ends.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
I think about the people who trust me with their biggest moments. I think about how one reel can make someone feel seen, celebrated, remembered. And honestly? I remind myself that I didn’t come this far to create average. Even on the slow days, I show up — because consistency built me, not just inspiration.
Hilal Cabuk, Hilal Cabuk, Germany
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
My own wedding was what sparked it. I really felt something was missing, and at that time, there was hardly any wedding content in Germany. So I started one of the first wedding content channels here and helped bring it to Germany.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
I always aim to let couples truly feel the emotions and the atmosphere of the moment I captured. My goal is to reflect the experience exactly as it happened, so they can relive it authentically through the video
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
For 2026, I see weddings moving towards refined vintage elements, with high-quality, minimalist details that feel timeless. Delicate lace can appear in invitations, tablecloths, or stationery, combined with personalized touches that make each wedding unique.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Truly experiencing the couple’s wedding day up close and being part of such an important and emotional moment gives me endless motivation. I don’t see myself just as a service provider, but as someone who gets to live these beautiful moments. And as a wedding professional, getting to meet so many couples and people who grow close to my heart with every event gives me so much joy.
Indra Montes, Ever After, Mexico
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
The realization that the most powerful memories aren’t staged, they’re felt. As much as I adore the beauty, the design, and the editorial elegance of a wedding, I kept finding myself most moved by the quieter, almost unnoticed seconds.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The emotion I’m always secretly chasing is connection, the invisible thread that ties everyone together. It’s the way guests react when they think no one is watching. The way the bride and groom slowly unfold throughout the day. The collective shift in a room when something meaningful happens.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
It would be intentional storytelling over viral moments. Couples are moving away from performing for tradition or the algorithm and leaning into experiences that feel deeply personal and emotionally honest. They’re choosing meaning over expectation. It’s less about replicating what’s trending online and more about creating something that genuinely reflects who they are.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Remembering that this isn’t just content, it’s someone’s once-in-a-lifetime memory. When I feel creatively blocked, I shift my focus from creating something “for the feed” to creating something beautiful and honest. The pressure disappears when I remember that my job is to preserve emotion.
Joanna Kourti, Soul on Grey, Greece
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
For me, it’s always about the love and the connection between two people. I’m drawn to the subtle, in-between moments. The quiet exchanges, the small gestures of intimacy that rise above the noise and make the day truly meaningful.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
It’s the in-between moments. The quiet seconds that exist between the big milestones of the day. The gentle touches, the soft caresses, the subtle connections unfolding in the pauses between events. Those are the moments that feel the most real to me.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Τhe return to natural, open-air settings. Couples are choosing locations where nature becomes part of the story, such as the sea, the mountains, and the open sky. The light, the wind, and the landscape shape the emotion of the day. It’s a style I deeply connect with, because when the environment feels raw and authentic, the moments unfold naturally and the result feels timeless and cinematic.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Music!! Even if one might not immediately realize it, it is what fuels my creativity. The vibe each couple brings naturally guides the soundtrack of the reels we create. When you think about it, it’s amazing how music can completely transform the way each person experiences a moment.
Josh Joseph, Socials by Josh Joseph, Australia
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
I’m drawn to the moments that aren’t staged. The quiet seconds before the ceremony. A father fixing his tie. A groom taking a breath before he sees his bride. A look between the couple when the room goes silent. Those moments are real. They’re not performed for the camera. They happen once, and they’re gone. That’s where the story of a wedding truly lives. Anyone can capture the big moments. What matters is seeing the ones in between.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
Not the loud moments everyone plans for — the entrance, the kiss, the applause. It’s the second where a groom’s voice cracks. A father looks away so no one sees him tear up. A bride takes a breath before walking in. That’s the moment that gives you goosebumps.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Authenticity. Weddings are moving away from staged perfection and focusing on real moments — real emotion, real reactions, real energy.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Discipline. Not every day feels creative. But showing up does. When the pressure’s on and the day is moving fast, I focus on the responsibility — capturing moments people will never get back. That’s bigger than waiting for inspiration.
Joy Wang, Cloud Nine Stories, Singapore
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
We started Cloud Nine Stories because of what we didn’t have on our own wedding days. Both my co-founder and I got married in 2023. While we had beautiful professional photos and videos, we realised afterwards how many in-between moments were missing – the candid laughter in the bridal suite, the shaky happy tears, the spontaneous hugs, the chaotic, joy-filled snippets that happen behind the scenes.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The one emotion I’m always chasing in every wedding film or reel is the exact feeling I have when I’m witnessing the couple in real life. It’s that overflow of joy, intimacy, and love. The kind that feels almost too big for the room. The way their hands instinctively reach for each other. The soft smiles they exchange when no one else is looking.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
One trend redefining weddings this season is immersive, memory-driven experiences through creative content and interactive keepsakes.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Couples are moving beyond traditional photography and videography. They want every candid, behind-the-scenes moment captured as it happens. The laughter in the bridal suite, the chaotic dance floor, the raw, emotional vows.
Kavita Bangani & Ankit Singh, Shaadi BTS, India
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
It was something unplanned. I was into my job & also a MUA. My husband and I used to make content for ourselves. One of our friends contacted us and told us that he really loves our Instagram page and wants us to do something similar for his wedding, and so this journey started, and we never looked back. To answer the question, 1000s of emotions are something that drew us to become wedding content creators.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
When I am shooting a wedding, I presume a lot of things that are going to happen, so shooting that fun moment, which can turn emotional very quickly amid that chaotic haldi event, is my favorite.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Be cringe, if you want to be cringe, it’s YOUR WEDDING
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
That one smile, laughter, or tear when the couple or family member sees our real-time videos
Khushboo Jaiswani, House of Social Media, India
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
The realization that perfection is rarely authentic. A perfectly posed portrait tells you what people looked like, but a stolen glance, a nervous exhale before the aisle, or a grandparent’s quiet laughter in the corner tells you who they are.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
I’m always chasing “anticipatory nostalgia.” It’s that rare, breathless micro-expression when a couple, amidst the chaos of a hundred guests and a rigid timeline, suddenly locks eyes and realizes, “This is it. This is the moment.” It’s not just a tear or a loud laugh; it’s the quiet weight of time standing still. It looks like a sharp intake of breath, a softening of the shoulders, or a squeeze of the hand that lingers just a second longer than necessary.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
The “Anti-Performance” aesthetic. Couples are finally shedding the theatrical, performative traditions that feel obligatory and instead treating their wedding like an ultra-intimate, immersive dinner party. It shifts the entire energy of the day from a rigid ‘production’ to a shared, present experience, which translates into much more relaxed, candid, and deeply connected footage.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
The quiet weight of legacy. When the gear feels heavy and the editing timeline looks daunting, I remind myself that the files on my hard drive are going to outlive us all. I am building an emotional archive that a couple’s future grandchildren will look at to understand where they came from. That responsibility, being the architect of someone’s family history, is a powerful antidote to burnout.
Kristine Satorre, The Modern Bride’s BFF, Australia
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
Moments such as my parents giggling in the corner like newlyweds during cocktail hour, or my bridesmaids singing “Going to the Chapel” while I’m getting ready, and even more so, the fleeting moment my fiancée stares at me lovingly from across the room while the photographer and videographer take photos of me on our wedding day
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The anticipation. The nervousness. It’s those “is this really happening?” giddy moments.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Smaller, intimate numbers. The wedding is no less important or grand, but rather more intentional.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Taking time out for myself to be bored. Creativity comes from being bored and finding inspiration in the minor details of the day. Reading a book, going to Pilates, or working out in the gym, no phone screen time – the smallest habits matter.
Lauren Rowley, Brides of Social, UK
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
The unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day were realizing that the most meaningful parts of the day often happen when no one is performing for the camera. Weddings are full of beautiful, curated moments, but the real emotion lives in the spaces between them – the deep breath before walking down the aisle, a quiet hand squeeze from a parent, the laughter between the bride and her bridesmaids the morning of the wedding, or the look a couple shares when they think no one is watching.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The emotion we’re always secretly chasing is that moment of pure, unfiltered feeling – the one that catches you completely off guard. It’s the instant a couple locks eyes at the end of the aisle. The shaky breath before the vows. A parent quietly wiping away a tear in the background. The kind of moment that gives you goosebumps because it’s SO real.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
The shift toward documentary-style storytelling and posting the raw moments on social media. Couples are moving away from perfectly posed, overly polished moments and leaning into something far more meaningful – authenticity. They want the real story of the day.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Remembering the weight of the day I’m capturing. A wedding isn’t just another event – it’s one of the most important days of someone’s life. It’s a day they’ve dreamed about, planned for, and poured so much emotion into. That perspective instantly shifts everything for me. I’m not just creating content, I’m preserving memories they’ll return to for the rest of their lives.

Leisa Brenchley, Treasure the Bride, Indonesia
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
I truly believe this is when you get our couples at their best, the raw, the real, and the moments when they just let go. They’ve spent the best part of 12 months bringing their perfect day together; there is a lot of stress and pressure.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
I don’t believe we chase one emotion at every wedding because each day is so different, and we’re always surprised by a moment we didn’t see coming. I think they’re the best. The ones that aren’t manufactured, they happen by chance, by surprise. They’re unscripted and never on the run sheet. Sometimes we don’t even realise how special they are until we watch our footage back. We watch so much of the day through a little screen, so we get to see all the best bits when we slow down and look back.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
People are stepping away from tradition. No cakes, no bouquet toss, the son walking the bride down the aisle. We love the motto of ‘you do you!’ There are no rules; make it what you want and do what’s best for you and your guests.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Look around, it’s very easy to get inspired and motivated in a place like Bali. Go for a walk, focus on breathing in the fresh air, look around where you are, and be inspired by the culture. The Balinese live so simply here, they’ve taught me not to sweat the small stuff. Be present.
Libby Robinson, Your Moment Events, UK
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
The magic that lives in the unfiltered moments between the planned ones. While many weddings share familiar traditions such as the cake cutting, the champagne tower, and the first dance, it’s the unscripted seconds in between that truly define a couple’s day.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
Call me cliché, but the emotion I’m always secretly chasing is the groom’s reaction when he first sees his bride. That split second where everything slows down and the emotion is completely real, the deep breath, the watery eyes, and sometimes the tears he didn’t expect. It’s one of those moments that reminds everyone what the day is really about.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Couples prioritising authentic experiences over perfectly staged moments. Rather than focusing purely on tradition or aesthetics, couples are creating celebrations that truly reflect their personalities and relationships. From relaxed, laughter-filled mornings with bridesmaids to spontaneous dance floor moments late into the night, there’s a shift towards embracing the real, unfiltered energy of the day.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
On days when creativity feels heavy, I remind myself that this isn’t just another project or a styled shoot, it’s someone’s wedding. Couples spend months or years planning this once-in-a-lifetime day, and the trust they place in me to capture it is something I never take lightly. I never approach a wedding as a chance to create content for my business; my entire focus is on the couple and preserving their memories.
Manga Mbono, Mgcrea, France
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
What drew me to it was the emotion you can’t plan. Anyone can film the dress, the decor, the perfectly posed photo. But the real magic of a wedding lives in the in-between!
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
Your guests’ reactions are always something I would chase! Your intimate moments with them, the sparkle in their eyes, the enjoyment… It’s a total pleasure to let my brides discover their wedding with this vision!
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
The return of vintage film aesthetics. There’s something incredibly special about capturing a wedding in a way that feels timeless and nostalgic. Shooting in a vintage film style brings a softness, a grain, and an emotion that digital sometimes can’t replicate. It feels real, imperfect in the most beautiful way.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
The fact that I am capturing a one-day moment! A day when all the emotions are intense, and I am a part of all those memories. When creativity feels heavy, I just need to meet my groom and brides and get the vibe, the energy to match it!
Maria Mikhail, Maria Mikhail Co., USA
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
My passion for capturing wedding content came from a need I experienced on my own wedding day. I also come from 8 years of producing content for some of the world’s most renowned luxury brands. We all consume content naturally on our phones, scrolling endlessly through images and videos in our photo app. I wanted to create memories that were both sentimental to look back on and refined in approach. Something that felt artful, made with a creative eye that still made you feel something when you watch it.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
I’d say I am always chasing the beauty in every frame, whether it takes form in an emotion, a color, a smile, or a decor detail. There is beauty in everything around us, even in the mundane. My approach is discreet, intentional, and aligned with personal aesthetic, preserving not just the highlights, but the profound beauty in between.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
I am completely obsessed with the Art Deco trend. Highlighting perfect symmetry, color blocking, deep jewel hues, and artful design. I think weddings produced with an Art Deco flair are timeless and yet modernly bold.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
The people and collaboration. There’s no better way to feel more motivated than to work with a team of people who inspire each other. In an industry where it can feel like competition, I prefer to create community and work with couples who believe creative vision is overachieved when people love working together.
Margarida Cunha, InWhite Content Creation, Portugal
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
My path into wedding content creation actually started with my own wedding in 2022. I loved our wedding film, but like most couples, we had to wait quite a while to receive it. During that time, the only glimpses I had of the full day were the random iPhone videos my friends had taken. They were fun and chaotic and showed moments I had completely missed — but they weren’t curated, and my friends were busy celebrating as they should be.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
I think the emotion I’m always chasing is that quiet wave of feeling that happens when people forget they’re being watched. It’s the moment when friends look at the couple, and you can see the pride and love in their faces. It’s a father tearing up when he sees his daughter dressed in white. It’s the quick glance between partners that says, “We actually did this.”
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Couples are caring much more about how their wedding actually feels, not just how it looks. Of course, design is still important, but I’m seeing more couples prioritize atmosphere and experience over perfectly staged moments. They want their guests to be present, the timeline to feel natural, and the day to unfold in a way that actually reflects them. That shift is also why wedding content creation has become so relevant.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Honestly, weddings themselves usually reset that feeling for me. Every wedding is different — different people, different families, different energy — and once the day starts unfolding, it’s hard not to get pulled back into it. Sometimes creativity isn’t about forcing something new; it’s just about paying attention. And weddings give you a lot to pay attention to.
Marina Cannavaciuolo, Marina’s Stories, Italy
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
I’ve always loved love stories, montages, and curated music, and creating content means giving my artistic interpretation of the love stories of the couples I film. My family has always been in the wedding industry, and creating content is my way of telling the story of this world that I’ve been a part of since I was a child.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
What I always try to capture are those small, spontaneous moments of true love – a spontaneous glance, a caress, sweet and romantic gestures that somehow tell the story of the couple.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
I create voice-over wedding recap videos, a growing wedding storytelling trend, where I narrate the entire wedding so the couple and their guests can relive the day through a cinematic story.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Music is what works for me. When creativity is running low, what I do is listen to my playlist of romantic songs that I save for content, and I imagine the various scenes coming together thanks to the inspiration of the songs I’m listening to.
Marva Anaya, Brideswhisperer, Indonesia
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
Realizing that the most meaningful parts of a wedding aren’t always the ones perfectly posed for the camera. It’s the quiet, fleeting moments in between — the deep breath before walking down the aisle, a squeeze of the hand, a teary smile from across the room, the chaos and laughter with your closest people while getting ready. Those moments are real, unfiltered, and they disappear in seconds. But they’re often the ones couples feel the most when they look back.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
I’m always secretly chasing it — the essence of a couple’s relationship, the emotion that reveals who they truly are together. Every couple has their own rhythm. Some are playful, loud, and full of energy — the kind of love that feels like marrying your best friend for life. Others carry a quieter, deeper connection where even a simple look can bring happy tears.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
One thing redefining weddings right now is how celebrations are becoming more like a full experience rather than just one day. Couples are creating wedding weekends — welcome dinners, cultural ceremonies, recovery brunches — moments where everyone can truly spend time together. It allows the story to unfold naturally across several days, and some of the most beautiful moments actually happen outside the main ceremony.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Whenever creativity feels heavy, I always go back to my day one — that feeling of curiosity and excitement when I first started capturing weddings. Back then, everything felt magical because I was simply observing love and the little moments around it. Remembering that keeps me grounded. It reminds me that behind every wedding is a real story, real emotions, and people trusting me to preserve it.
Maryam Abdullah, Khaleeji Weddings, UAE
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
The quiet, unplanned moments that happen between the big celebrations — the deep breath before the bride walks out, a mother adjusting her daughter’s veil, or the laughter shared when no one realizes the camera is there. Those moments are honest and unfiltered, and they carry the real emotion of the day. Capturing them feels like preserving something very human and fleeting — a memory that the couple and their families may not have even noticed in the moment but will treasure forever.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The moment when everything suddenly feels real — when a bride sees herself ready for the first time, when a parent quietly tears up, or when the couple locks eyes, and the entire room fades away. It’s that mix of joy, disbelief, and deep love that gives people goosebumps. Those moments can’t be staged, and when they happen naturally, they create the kind of memories that make a wedding film timeless.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
The shift toward deeply personal storytelling. Couples are moving away from overly staged moments and instead focusing on meaningful experiences — intimate celebrations, thoughtful details, and authentic emotions. Weddings are becoming less about spectacle and more about capturing the couple’s real story, which makes the content far more powerful and timeless.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
What motivates me is remembering the responsibility behind what we do. Weddings happen once, and the moments we capture become part of a family’s history. Even on challenging days, knowing that our work will be watched, shared, and cherished for generations keeps me focused and inspired to create something meaningful.
Michelle Denby, Socially Michelle & Co, Cyprus
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
It’s an interesting story, actually. The job found me. Back in May 2022, I started helping my friend, who is a wedding planner, by creating content for her weddings to promote her business on social media. A bride actually asked me if I could offer this to her wedding, at first I said no, I only work with businesses.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
Just one? No, I can’t single it down to one, but for me, I’m such a big softie. I’m so emotional, and when I attend your wedding, I feel like it’s one of my friends, so just any sign of happy emotions gets me. I love it. It’s such a beautiful feeling that you cannot describe
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
The biggest trend I’m seeing is couples wanting real-time, candid content alongside their photographer and videographer. They still want those beautiful, timeless images, but they also love having the behind-the-scenes moments captured on a phone and delivered the same day. It lets them relive the energy of the day almost instantly.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Natural, organic emotion. I love reading the room and anticipating the next laugh or tear. On a wedding day, I don’t feel pressure to ‘be creative’ or manufacture moments; I simply document what’s already unfolding.
Nikita & Simone, The Wedding Gram, India
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
As a wedding social media agency, we saw a beautiful gap: while traditional photography captured the milestones, many of these candid, emotional micro-moments were often missed in the digital narrative of the day. We wanted to document weddings as they are truly experienced, raw, spontaneous, and deeply human. At The Wedding Gram Co., our passion lies in turning those unfiltered moments into living memories that couples can relive instantly and share with the world in real time.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
We’re hoping to capture that one frame that makes someone pause mid-scroll… the gasp, the smile, or the tear they didn’t see coming. Because when a piece of content makes you feel something instantly, you know you’ve captured more than a moment, you’ve captured the heart of the day.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Being in absolute love. We’re seeing couples become more intentional about their connection, taking moments to pause, breathe, and truly experience the day together.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Because every wedding we document is someone’s once-in-a-lifetime story. Remembering that we’re not just creating content but preserving memories that families will hold onto for years, the weight of creativity turns back into purpose.
Olivia Sutherland, Olivia & Living Event Content, Australia
Reagan Teel, Unveiled Content Co., USA
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
What drew me in was realizing how much of a wedding day happens outside the “big moments.” The hug from a mom before the ceremony, a bride taking a deep breath before walking down the aisle, friends laughing together when no one thinks a camera is around. Those moments are usually the ones couples remember the most later. I love capturing the day as it actually unfolds, not just the posed highlights, but the little pieces in between.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The feeling of genuine connection and the moment where you can tell someone is fully present in what’s happening. The moments that make people feel something when they watch it back later. That’s always what I’m hoping to capture.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Couples prioritizing experience over tradition. Instead of following a strict template, they’re designing days that feel more personal, like longer cocktail hours, intimate dinners, weekend-long events, and moments where they actually get to spend time with their guests. It creates a much more relaxed weekend, which naturally leads to better, more authentic moments to capture.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Remembering that for the couple, this day only happens once. Even if I’ve seen hundreds of weddings, for them it’s their wedding day. That perspective helps me reset and stay present. Usually, the best moments happen when I’m simply paying attention and letting the day unfold instead of trying to force creativity.
Saanya Chawla, FilmswSaanya, Australia
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
For as long as I can remember, I wasn’t the kid playing “house”—I was the kid playing “wedding.” Growing up surrounded by the beautiful chaos of family celebrations, I was mesmerized by the “wedding bubble.” You know the one: that sacred, five-day stretch where the outside world ceases to exist, and the only currency that matters is emotion. I watched the elders exchange stories, the cousins reunite in fits of laughter, and the air grow heavy with a kind of love that felt tangible.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The seconds right before the tears. When the eyes get misty, lips quiver, and tears uncontrollably begin. The moments right after varmala, first look with families or solitude in a room, when it hits you, you’re getting married. The build-up to intense emotion will always be my favourite.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Storytelling with no trending music. Weddings that purely draw inspiration from emotions, and vendors that have an empathetic lens to capture that. As a creator, I don’t want to mute the background noise to make a perfect video; I want to amplify the chaos because that chaos is where the love lives. It’s the sound of a family that has waited a lifetime to be this loud together.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Good boredom. Whether it is sitting in the bedroom with my favourite playlist, catching up with a childhood friend, or cooking for my family. Basically, everything that reminds me of love in all its forms, that fills my cup before I am able to fill others via my art.
Saira Mirza, Social Saira, USA
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
Before I ever stepped in front of a camera, I spent over a decade behind the scenes working in the wedding industry — learning the rhythm of these days from the inside out. But what drew me to content creation was something much more personal: the beauty of capturing something completely raw, and being able to give it back almost instantly. The in-between moments are where the truth lives.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
It’s the collective joy — the moment when everyone in the room is feeling the exact same thing at the exact same time. The grandmother wipes her tears. The best friend is laughing and crying at once. The groom’s face when he finally sees her. These emotions ripple across every single person in that space, and I want to capture all of it. That wave of shared feeling is what I’m always chasing. When I can bottle that up into a single reel — that’s everything.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Intentionality. Couples are finally designing their wedding day for themselves first. For a long time, weddings were shaped by family expectations and tradition. What I’m seeing now — especially in the luxury space — is couples who want every detail to reflect who they actually are together. And those are the most beautiful weddings to capture. When a day is authentically theirs, everything just feels more alive.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
The couple. Every time. They trusted me with the most important day of their lives — and what an honor that is. Their memories only happen once, and I get to be the one to preserve them forever. That never gets old. That’s always enough.
Samantha Gentile, So Bridal Social, USA
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
What drew me to wedding content creation was actually working in social media and marketing for other vendors in the wedding industry. I would often be on site at weddings and events creating content for venues and brands, and I started noticing how many of the small, meaningful moments of the day were happening around me that no one was capturing.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
I’m always chasing the quiet moments. Not the big, expected ones, but the ones that happen just outside of them. It’s the deep breath a bride takes before walking down the aisle, a parent watching from across the room, a couple stealing a second alone after the ceremony, or the way everyone softens during a speech. Those moments are usually subtle, but they carry so much emotion. When you capture them, that’s when people get goosebumps watching it back. It feels real, and it takes them right back to how the day actually felt. That’s always the moment I’m hoping to find.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
I would say the shift toward truly immersive guest experiences. Couples are moving away from weddings that feel like a formal schedule and instead creating weekends that feel like a shared experience for everyone attending. From welcome parties and interactive food moments to thoughtful design details and relaxed, lingering dinners, the focus is on how the day feels for the people in the room. It’s less about a perfectly staged timeline and more about creating an atmosphere where guests feel part of something meaningful.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
I remind myself that no two weddings are ever the same. Even when creativity feels heavy, the emotion and energy of the people around me always bring something new to the day. Being present in those moments is incredibly motivating. A small interaction, a reaction during a speech, or the way a couple looks at each other can instantly spark inspiration again.
Sandra Vega, Heart Crafted Social, USA
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
What drew me in was realizing that the most meaningful parts of a wedding day are rarely the ones on the timeline. After more than a decade in content creation, my eye has been trained to anticipate energy shifts, emotional cues, and subtle body language. I don’t just point a phone at what’s happening. I watch for what’s about to happen. That instinct is what allows me to capture the in-between.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The smile between a father and his daughter right before they walk down the aisle. It’s the smile that says, “Let’s do this”.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
If I had to spotlight one trend redefining weddings this season, it would be intentional intimacy. Not necessarily smaller guest counts, but a deliberate shift toward presence over performance.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
I will go to a museum and study how light hits a painting. I will take a long walk without my phone and pay attention to architecture, color, texture, and movement. If I can, I travel. Even a short trip resets my perspective. New environments wake up something in me.
Savera Bayat, LetteringbySav, Canada
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
What drew me to those unfiltered, in-between moments is how real they feel. Because that’s where love is most honest. Long before I was documenting weddings, I was attending them, always watching the corners of the room instead of the stage. The bride squeezing her dad’s hand before walking out. A groom taking one steady breath before the music begins. A grandmother quietly wiping her tears. A flower girl is fixing her dress because she wants to get it right. Those moments aren’t choreographed or announced. No one pauses for them.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
I’m always chasing two things at once: the tear and the adrenaline. I want the goosebumps from a quiet vow and the rush of a dance floor right before the beat drops.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
If I had to spotlight one trend redefining weddings right now, it’s destination celebrations that actually embrace the place they’re in. For a long time, destination weddings felt interchangeable; the same decor, the same timeline, just in a prettier backdrop. Now couples are leaning into local culture in a way that makes the experience feel rooted and intentional. They’re incorporating regional music, traditional dancers, local chefs, native florals, and meaningful rituals tied to the destination itself.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
When creativity feels heavy, I remind myself of one rule I never break: I stay authentic. I don’t force moments. I don’t apply the same formula to every couple. I don’t chase trends if they don’t align with who they are. My work stays authentic to each person in front of me – their energy, their rhythm, their dynamic. Because of that, creativity rarely feels forced.
Stacey Moran, The BTS Bride, USA
Suraj & Souvik, The Wedding Scroll, India
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
When I’m documenting a wedding, I see myself not just as a content creator but as a family member, experiencing the same kind of emotion. The big, planned moments are beautiful, but they’re scripted. The magic lives in the most candid, unplanned ones. Our team just loves being the quiet person in the corner, who gets to catch it, before it’s gone.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
The forehead kiss. Not the big dramatic dip. Just the casual one. Forehead resting on forehead, mostly after the varmala or the vows. There are tears in the eyes of every spectator, and that’s when we know we have captured the softest moment in the wedding.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
Definitely, the bride reveals her first look to her bridesmaids or family members. We love to capture that one turn the bride takes, and everyone gasps. It’s so momentary but so candid. They just… stare at their person. Like they’re seeing her for the first time all over again.
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Our archive. We scroll back through old footage. The outtakes. The random 10-second clips of people laughing. And that just reminds us that we are part of something so important and pure in people’s lives. Somebody hired us because they trusted us to catch what they’d miss. On heavy days, I remember that. They’ll care that I saw the thing nobody else did. So I just… show up. Point the camera. Trust that the moment will do the work. It always does.
Vasavi Ginodia Modi, WedMeBTS, India
What drew you to the magic hiding in the unfiltered, in-between moments of a wedding day?
Weddings are full of emotional, happy, sad, and fun moments. There are never enough cameras to capture them all.
What’s that one emotion you’re always secretly chasing in every wedding film or reel?
Reactions. Reactions during surprises, bridal entry, that kneeling down moment, and many more.
If you could spotlight just ONE trend redefining weddings this season, what would it be?
The moment when the bride & groom finally made it right after the sindoor or mangal sutra ritual, and they whisper to each other “You’re my wife” or “Hello l, husband!”
What motivates you on days when creativity feels heavy?
Couple’s reactions to the moments we share with them in the form of reels.
