Many details of their Beauty And The Beast themed celebrations have been splashed across the media; like the destination wedding at New Orleans, the star studded guest list including Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian and Michelle Obama. 1. According to Vanity Fair, each table at the reception was named after one of Williams’s 12 Grand Slam titles, and guests took home replicas of Williams’s trophies as party favors. The trophies being, well, the hero décor theme of the night, was also spotted on flower walls

2.  Williams pulled off what every bride in the world could only wish for. For the after-party, she traded her heels for Nike Cortez sneakers, dripping in glittery rhinestones, custom made for the bride. Not only do they look super comfortable, it matched flawlessly with her third designer dress for the night, a feathered Versace cocktail dress.

 

3.  The tennis ace wore an ethereal caped wedding gown in ivory white worth a staggering, designed by the extraordinary Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. She wore three different wedding dresses throughout the night, the other two of which were custom designed by Versace, a wedding wardrobe worth a staggering sum of $2.6 million. She finished her look with XIV Karats jewelry which set her back over $3 million.

4.  We wouldn’t be surprised if astronauts could spot Serena Williams’ engagement ring from outer space. She hasn’t revealed any information about her ring, but its sheer enormity is enough to have spectators hooked.

5.  The wedding featured many quirky references from both the bride and groom’s heritage and favorites. One peculiar feature was at the reception, that took place at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, was a “living salad wall.” We sense this trend will soon catch on like wildfire!
