The NoMad Hotel, Los Angeles

Launch date: January 21, 2018

The West Coast outpost of New York’s hotspot NoMad is set to open its doors in Downtown LA. Extending the spirit of the original vibrant property, the new hotel resides in the historical Giannini Building with 241 rooms and suites, 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a rooftop pool and gathering space overlooking the city of stars. The new NoMad hotel also boasts the first restaurants and bars outside of Manhattan by in-demand Chef Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara, the power duo behind one of the “World’s 50 Best” restaurants.

 

Raffles Europejski, Warsaw

Launch date: Early 2018

Situated along the Royal Route next to the Presidential Palace in Old Town, the historic building has been an icon since its inception. Through its thoughtful restoration project, rich blend of Polish heritage, skilled local craftsmanship and contemporary art on display, the Raffles Europejski Warsaw reflects the narrative of the nation’s history. The property will feature 106 elegant suites featuring carefully curated Polish art by Anda Rottenberg and Barbara Piwowarska; a restaurant showcasing Poland’s rich produce and cuisine; a bar and cigar lounge; a pâtisserie that evokes the hotel’s fascinating story; as well as a spa featuring six treatment rooms.

 

Hotel Lutetia, Paris

Launch date: Spring 2018

The iconic landmark situated in the vibrant St.Germain des-Pres area of Paris came to being in 1910 when the building was a daring move from art nouveau to the emerging style of art deco.  The hotel with a fabled past quickly became a place where pioneers and connoisseurs of art, philosophy, science and politics continually gathered, including Ernest Hemingway, James Joyce, Picasso, Matisse and Josephine Baker. After a massive facelift, the modern grand hotel designed is an ideal contemporary haven with all the facilities and amenities of today’s palace hotels. Amongst the 184 beautifully designed bedrooms, will be 47 suites. Of these suites, five signature suites, individually designed, will include two penthouse suites with private access to terraces as large as 70 sqm and boasting an unrivalled 360-degree view of Paris. Under the supervision of three Michelin starred chef Gerald Passedat, the hotel houses an eclectic mix of restaurants and bars along with a grand historic Salon Cristal ballroom for up to 300 people  and the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre.

 

The Langley, Buckinghamshire

Launch date: June 2018

The third Duke of Marlborough’s old hunting lodge is set to be the new gem on the luxury hotel landscape of the English countryside. Opening in the summer, the grade II listed mansion sprawling across 500 acres will have 41 rooms plus a vast spa and fitness centre, with programmes set by the celebrity personal fitness trainer, Matt Roberts, ideal for those looking to tone up before a big celebration- either in the 18th-century gardens by Capability Brown or the expansive outdoor gardens and parklands, including an English Heritage listed Lebanon cedar tree abundant in natural beauty. Zadún, the Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Los Cabos

Launch date: Spring 2018

The name Zadún – dunas in Spanish – is inspired by the unique topography and dunes of the region San José del Cabo with panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez. These rare estates draw inspiration from their regional native cultures and offer a highly personal connection between guests and the location, an experience very signature to the Ritz Carlton Reserves. The striking design of Zadún, celebrates the meeting point of the desert and the sea exuding a true sense of the rich coast. The property features 115 elegantly designed suites and villas, many with their own private plunge pools. The Reserve also features a collection of Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residences.

W Amman

Launch date: January 2018

Amman’s illustrious new downtown, the Abdali district, is now home to Starwood’s first W Hotel in Jordan, offering a vibrant urban retreat for both business and leisure guests. The brand new property features 280 guest rooms and suites, a number of signature beverage and food outlets, in addition to a multitude of extraordinary W amenities. From a design perspective, the building’s unique organisation and expression are inspired by the rock formations of the famous Nabatean city of Petra.
