In-Season Floral Options For A Stunning Winter Wedding

Since we’re embracing the season and sharing winter wedding inspirations, here is another one! And today, we look at floral options! While some color palettes work all year round, certain shades stand out during the colder months. Between seasonal flowers and year-round blooms, let’s see the different varieties you can make use of at your wedding.

Anemones are wonderful for a wedding during this season and fit well with darker tones, bringing warmth and unique pop of color with white, purple, or red. Camellias are also pretty flowers that can blend well with your winter theme. Growing in light pink, white, and red, you can use them in your bouquet or as delicate table decor to elevate the winter vibes.

Adding floral berries to your arrangement is the perfect way to welcome the season during the winter months. It not only gives a wintery, Christmas feel but also adds some texture to make your decor and bouquet stand out more. Lilies are also available during the winters and make for great options, especially for modern table decor. This particular work of suspended lilies has us swooning. And if Orchids are a favorite, experiment a little by mixing up your flowers with them for a classy touch. Sweet Peas are also great additions to consider.

Have you heard? The Pantone color for 2022 is out! Very Peri is a beautiful shade that will go well with any season of the year, and a way to splash the color to your wedding is with stunning Wisteria flowers. These florals are incredible for an artistic take, from a dramatic suspension to a striking element on your wedding cake.

Play With Texture

If you’re looking to keep things a little less dramatic but still want to make an impact, try focusing on texture with a mixed bundle. Blooming Pieris, Dusty Millers, Spray Roses, and seeded Eucalyptus make up this bride’s effortlessly eye-catching bouquet. You can also enhance an indoor wedding with stairs like this, decorated with roses, Dahlias (burgundy one works well if you’re looking to create a romantic Christmas look), and a few greens for volume.

Pine and Cedar leaves, Pepperberries, Majolica Spray Roses, and Amarylis are some elements you see in this festive floral batch. Along with them, Amaranthus and Pinecones add to the texture, creating a striking, aesthetic visual. Embracing the holiday season for your wedding, you can use these flowers to create a stunning setup. Poinsettias are also great flowers that work well for December weddings.

Apart from these gorgeous flowers, you have Paperwhites, and Queen Anne’s Lace, both of which are smaller but have a unique visual appeal perfect for brides opting for simpler decor. Eclectic winter boho brides may find Hellebores to be their new favorite, while Carnations are ones you don’t want to miss out on either.
