The founder and CEO of the wellness empire Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow took to Instagram to announce her engagement to Glee co-creator, Brad Falchuk. The couple who managed to stay low key about their relationship of two years declared their love in a not-so-subtle manner, beaming on the cover of Goop magazine’s second issue.
She talks about the Love issue in a statement revealing that, “…At midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be. I have decided to give it a go again,” Paltrow explains inside the sex- and love-themed edition. “Not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy.”
The EIC of the magazine delves into difficult and complex matters of the heart in her, who opens up about famously “uncoupling” with Coldplay front-man Chris Martin in 2014. She reveals that as conscious as the separation might have been, it wasn’t without difficulty. Paltrow admits that her divorce “used to feel like a failure; it took me a while to reframe that divorce isn’t a failure.”
