With immense historical value, traditional Lebanese architecture and regal magnificence, Chateau Rweiss is situated in the heart of the beautiful Chnaniir overlooking a panoramic view of the scenic Lebanese coast. We got in touch with Maria Boustany, the Public Relations Manager of Chateau Rweiss who spoke at length about the sacred magical landscape that the property provides for a wedding celebration complete with luxury and refinement.
How does it feel to win this prestigious award?
It was such an honor to be nominated in the first place, and to win this award in front of the biggest event planners in the world was such an empowering and motivating moment not only for Chateau Rweiss but for Lebanon as well for being perceived as a potential wedding destination.
How was your experience at the luxurious Destination Wedding Planners Congress 2019 that took place in Dubai?
As always, our experience was incredibly lavish and unique since DWP personalizes the journey of every attendee along with the level of expertise that is provided to us.
What motivates you to be so active within this dynamic wedding world?
Ambition, a lot of potential and the several dreams to achieve while making sure that every couple’s vision is brought to life and their dreams can indeed be fulfilled as well.
Tell us about your overall journey and how you have achieved this milestone?
Ever since the renovation of this majestic castle took place, wedding planners targeted this venue to host weddings without it being in business. They came for different celebrity weddings and the property was nowhere close to a wedding venue. So, when we saw the motivation of expert wedding planners and the potential that this venue could provide for them, we invested not only our money but our time and life to make it worth their while. Every wedding planner whether local or international, experiences the outstanding service and quality provided by our team whenever they plan a wedding. Chateau Rweiss is not any wedding venue, it is our home that portrays the ethics and values that we were taught and we strive to maintain this level of professionalism in dealing with all of the planners. For the past 12 years, every year we believe in enhancing the services we provide, in making it a higher quality wedding experience to our urbane clients who are seeking an exclusive venue to host their wedding at.
What do you do specifically to ensure an immersive destination experience for all your clients?
We try to connect the guests with tour guides so that they can explore all of Lebanon’s locales along with 5-star hotels in the region with good corporate rates and a series of nightlife hotspots with prominent DJs or beach trips to the latest coastline venues.
What are some unique attributes of your property that caters towards executing lavish weddings?
We have had the honor of hosting weddings of several celebrities, politicians, International figures and business tycoons. For these high-profile ceremonies, we reserve as many days as possible for the setup ensuring the appropriate needs that the planners ask for all are in place beforehand. Security and are of utmost importance. We also keep in mind our vendors’ needs and if there are international vendors that are attending, we also make it easy for them to work logistically within the venue. The different wedding spaces provided at Chateau Rweiss each come with a special setting whether it be overlooking the Jounieh Bay, the pristine natural reserve mountain, the authentic arcades or the oak tree gardens. These scenic options ensure that our guests are immersed within the rich, cultural heritage of Lebanon.
Please provide a word of inspiration for the new, upcoming set of individuals who strive to follow in your footsteps and make it big in the wedding industry?
The most important features that brand a vendor in this tough industry that is constantly undergoing numerous changes and challenges are ethics, loyalty and transparency. Put your heart out and invest your soul in this industry so that you can shine among the rest!
