We spoke to Iosifina Politi, the Event Manager at Santorini Gem Weddings who divulged about all the treasures Santorini Gem has to offer.
How does it feel to win this prestigious award?
We are excited to win this award as it represents the love and happiness our couples have experienced. At the same time, we feel very proud as the award signifies the recognition by the most prestigious and influential Award Committee Members. The award points us in the right direction and we are more encouraged than ever to work hard and defend our title.
How was your experience at the luxurious Destination Wedding Planners Congress 2019 that took place in Dubai?
Excellent in every way! We were amazed by the incredible organization and most importantly, we were inspired by the leaders of the luxury wedding industry.
What motivates you to be so active within this dynamic wedding world?
The energy and reflection of the sentiments all our guests bring into Santorini Gem is what aspires the team. Also, the endless creativity the wedding world unfolds keeps us fresh and alert.
Tell us about your overall journey and how you have achieved this milestone?
Santorini Gem is the gem of the oldest and bigger Group of Travel and Hospitality Companies in the Aegean Sea (with 40 years of experience). We started offering wedding planning services more than 10 years ago in Santorini and just 5 years ago we were blessed to inaugurate the Santorini Gem wedding venue with the highest standards.
What do you do specifically to ensure an immersive destination experience for all your clients?
The location speaks for itself, as our clients enjoy the caldera and volcanic views that make Santorini such a unique destination experience. Moreover, we like to guide them through the culinary and wine culture, as well as to inform them on the geological miracle along with the archaeological richness of the Cycladic civilization.
What are some unique attributes of your property that caters towards executing lavish weddings?
Breathtaking views of the volcanos and the caldera, luxury outdoor and indoor spaces, an exquisite blend of Santorini and International cuisine.
