Connected By Fate, The Love Story Of Fornna & Jarvis
Fornna, a Sydney-based marketing director for a global luxury brand, and Jarvis, a private business owner, met through a mobile game in 2019. After eight months of chatting daily, Jarvis flew to Sydney for the first time, where Fornna showed him across her home city, Sydney. Initially, the two felt that it was a low risk and that they would never see each other again. However, fate had other plans, and the two got along very well. They then decided to meet again, but then COVID-19 stopped everything turning it into a long-distance relationship. After almost two years of chatting and Facetime calls, they realised that this was it. In 2022, Jarvis moved to Australia, with an engagement ring, and voilà, here we are witnessing their nuptials which is an absolute treat to the eye!
A Happily Ever After In Phuket
Fornna and Jarvis celebrated their special day in the breathtaking landscapes of Phuket, Thailand. With the expert assistance of Bridal Planner Thailand. The couple chose the exquisite Sri Panwa as their wedding venue. They exchanged heartfelt vows, marking the beginning of their lifelong journey together. It was indeed a celebration filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories, as they stepped into their happily ever after on 3rd November, 2023 amidst the magic of Thailand’s tropical paradise.
A Traditional Tea Ceremony
The three-day wedding celebration was a spectacle of tradition and elegance, with one of its most memorable moments being the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony. Dressed resplendently in a shimmering gold qun kwa, the radiant bride, Fornna, and her groom Jarvis, embarked on a heartfelt ritual seeking the blessings from their elders. Kneeling humbly, they served tea to the elders in the family as a gesture of respect and gratitude, receiving in return their warm well-wishes and blessings. The exchange of gifts and money, enclosed in vibrant red envelopes known as Lai See, added a touch of auspiciousness to the occasion.
Soaking In The Glam For The Big Day
The wedding was a definition of sheer glam and sophistication. As the air was filled with excitement and happiness, the bride and the groom looked their best dressed in their wedding ensembles. With her hair all nicely done, Fornna shared a few memorable moments with her girls, before she wore her white gown coupled with a pair of gorgeous shoes by Jimmy Choo. Resembling an angel from the heavens, she looked absolutely stunning. Our groom, Jarves also brought his A-game on! He looked absolutely handsome in his white and beige suit, eagerly waiting to step into his happily ever after with his love, Fornna.
The Ceremony
The moment has finally come! With the couple and all the guests waiting to witness this breathtaking love story come to fruition, the ceremony took place at Baba Nest 360-degree view deck at Sri Panwa Resort. Keeping in mind Fornna and Jarvis’s vision, the planners aimed to achieve a modern, whimsical, and elegant look with a white, neutral and dark beige colour palette. The couple also envisioned a wedding design that harmoniously blended with the extraordinary seascape venue that they had chosen. Additionally, the vision also focused on enhancing the natural beauty of the surroundings by incorporating reflective surfaces throughout the decor. The mirror aisle platform and the altar stage were the main highlights of the wedding decor. The aisle and altar stage looked absolutely gorgeous, as they shimmered under the soft sunlight, creating an ethereal atmosphere. Another interesting detail of this wedding was the strategic placement of transparent chairs that made guests feel like they were floating above the serene waters. Along with the personalized backdrop, large and small signages were designed to match the theme and the floral decoration.
Dancing The Night Away In A Celebration Of Love
After a breathtaking ceremony, the couple and the guests attended the reception held in Baba Pool Club at Sri Panwa Resort, where they were greeted by an equally stunning ambience. Exuding sophistication and contemporary flair, the neutral-beige color palette left everyone utterly spellbound. The decor featured floral hangings with carefully chosen blooms embracing the neutral-beige color palette. The rose-gold flatware added a touch of elegance and opulence, enhancing the warm, luxurious aesthetic. Additionally, the curated floral centrepieces on each table contributed to the visual harmony, while the soft candlelight created a romantic and intimate atmosphere, blending warmth and style seamlessly.
The guests were in for a night of fun and frolic, enhanced by beautiful decor and unique culinary delights. The bride had requested a special watermelon cake, offering a fresh and healthy twist. The reception also featured Frosé, a delightful frozen Rosé wine, as a special request from the bride. The evening culminated with the newlyweds dancing beneath exquisite fairy lights, as majestic fireworks celebrated their glorious union.
