You’ll want to look back on the memories of your special day. The number one tip on elopement is probably to get a photographer who can capture the moments. Keep in mind that elopement costs lesser than a typical wedding. This means you can splurge on the budget for Photographers & Videographers. This is a must as guests who are not a part of your special day can have something great to look back.

No, elopement does not mean there won’t be any major costs involved. There are still expenses involved: the marriage license, travel and accommodations, your attire, photography, maybe a simple festive bouquet and boutonnière,  and celebratory drinks or lunch/dinner afterward. Also, it doesn’t mean that you have to play small. Everyone has a fair idea of what they want their D-Day to look like. Make it grand, big and the day of your dreams.

Follow Your Heart

It’s normal to feel guilty at first about going for elopement without your family and friends’ presence. Eloping can be something of a statement in itself, so if you’re planning to have one, you should be 100% sure that you’d want it in the first place. Don’t feel bad about your decision as this is your special day and in the end, it should make the two of you happy. Saving money, avoiding fuss, keeping things intimate and personal, or avoiding family drama, are all completely valid reasons to elope – you don’t need to justify it to anybody. Follow your heart and own your choice.
