Rising in trend, brunch weddings are loved by many. And what’s not to like? You like weddings. You like brunch. So why not combine the two to create the ultimate wedding bash? So here are a few points you need to consider if you are planning a brunch wedding. OK, First things first. When you hear brunch wedding for the first time, the first word you think about is food. So obviously, that’s the number one thing that you need to give preference to while thinking about hosting one. But there are certain things you need to consider before hosting. So if you are a food lover or your gang is, consider these five points before you commit to throwing an a.m. affair.

It is For Early Risers

The key is to know your guests. Are they early risers or late wakers? Do they like to party ’til dawn or would prefer a morning celebration? The decision lies in these questions. Consider your crowd before settling on a brunch wedding—or at least be prepared to receive a handful of regrets.

Your Menu Will Be Affected

A brunch wedding reception is all about the food and it normally gives an idea of appetizers, pancakes, cocktails or elevated parfaits. But this does not mean that guests won’t expect a full-blown meal. The unique menu possibilities are one of the biggest differentiators with a brunch wedding reception. Whatever items you keep for the brunch menu, try not to keep the same taste for the soiree as people won’t be interested in having the same taste again. For example, if you decide to keep a dessert station during brunch, it might not be a good idea to have a cake-cutting in the evening as people won’t be interested in having too much of sweets

Brunch weddings typically tend to be a little bit more relaxed due to it being during the day. The theme can be garden, boho, relaxed, and casual as no one will dress up at 10 AM. You can have games or activities included.

Think About What’s Next

Immediately after the brunch, you would be required to follow it up with other activities as it typically lasts for about a couple of hours. Guests might expect a schedule for what’s coming next. You can follow up by gifting unique wedding favors or planning an optional event for guests like a pool party or team games. Whether it’s keeping the party going at a bar, going out to dinner, or letting everyone know that you’re going back to the hotel to crash, don’t leave guests wondering, ‘What’s next?'”

You Might Be Able To Save More

Brunch might also be the perfect fit for your wedding budget. A reception site is likely to be much cheaper during the day, especially if they can re-fill the site in the evening, and brunch food can be much, much less expensive. Hosting a brunch wedding will cut the costs down on some things like venue and alcohol (no need for a full-service bar), however, photographers and band/DJs will still cost the same, as well as the food.
