The fortified city is home to several architectural wonders. The Deer Dama-Dama statues are one of the most prominent monuments that are situated near the Fort of St. Nicholas in the Mandraki Harbor. The Colossus of Rhodes which was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world once stood in place of the monumental deer sculptures. You can also visit the iconic 210-metre Ancient Olympic Stadium and enjoy picturesque views of the pristine island from the top of the hill of Ayios Stefanos, known as the Acropolis of Rhodes.
