When you’re in love, you then decide to show it off! Which is why Tom and Karen leaped at the opportunity of sharing their happiness with their friends and family during the festive period in the month of December. Along with thematic elements showcasing Christmas cheer and spirit, the dreamy wedding revelries took place at The Legend which is nestled a stone’s throw away from the heart of Beirut city. Planned by the illustrious Toni Breiss and his wonderful team at Level By Toni Breiss, the opulent affair was an elegant evening to remember!
A legendary locale where magical weddings are crafted was the backdrop for Tom and Karen’s wintry Courchevel chalet wedding. According to Mr. Breiss; “It’s not only about creating luxury, It’s perfecting excellence”. Hence, no detail was overlooked, from the smallest winter essential to the decadent, royal wedding cake.
It all started from the very beginning in an empty tent which was transformed into a Courchevel chalet through a 10-day construction process. The ambience was set by choosing the correct wintry elements such as; a Christmas market at the entrance, chimney centerpieces on the extensive tablescapes and seasonal floral arrangements followed by a scrumptious buffet complete with Christmassy foods including a colossal ginger bread house!
Every little detail was carefully crafted by combining the glamorous and rustic theme in order to create the fabulous Courchevel chalet. The flowers and decorative illuminations chosen were a part of that theme followed by candles set on every table.
The Christmas market had several stalls including; a fur stand, a hat stand, a chestnut station, all in a cozy lounge setting where guests could enjoy various delicacies and some hot wine. The glamorous cake definitely left an impression on the guests. The decadent tiered layers with a adorned with a wood texture, sparkling silver frosting and snow covered lush greenery symbolized the winter wonderland theme.
