Elie Saab’s Fall 2018 focussed their attention to the most overlooked bridal accessory—the veil. After a series of royal weddings around the world put their own unique twists to the traditional veil, the Lebanese couturier featured elegant veils with modern intricacies to complement and uplift the bridal collection featuring 3D embellished gowns. Using gold and silver metallic threads for added dramatic effect and a touch of colour to each dress, Elie enhanced the ethereal quality of the embroidery by pairing these with a hooded cape, a headband veil acting as the ideal equipments for these magical, couture-like creations in their own right, which will appeal to brides of all tastes. The floor sweeping chattily lace and delicate tulle fabrics are playfully modern with a traditional charm.
