Another gem added to the year of royal weddings. In late November, Prince Christian of Hanover, 32, the stepson of Princess Caroline of Monaco, tied the knot with fiancee Alessandra de Osma, 25, in a simple civil ceremony at the Chelsea and Westminster registry office in London. Even though, it has been reported that the couple will host a more lavish ceremony in Alessandra’s native country of Peru in March next year (close to Prince Harry’s alleged wedding date), did not mean the low-key royal nuptials were any less impressive. Members of the Monaco royal family and high society including Princess Caroline’s daughter, Charlotte Casiraghi, joined the couple for the service and a wedding breakfast at the Ritz hotel.
For the occasion, the groom, the second son of Ernst of Hanover and Chantal Hochuli wore a simple sleek dark suit while his bride donned a fashionable Chanel tweed coat in white, paired with Aquazzura heels.
