Orange Productions Asia is the 1st entertainment and production company in Indonesia to bring the fire dance collaborative to cultural performance in 1999. Based in Indonesia, they provide consultancy to clients on tailor-made, end-to-end production from creative conception to actual production.
Great entertainment can make any part of your wedding day truly memorable. We got in touch with the director Deva Mccabe, Director of Orange Productions Asia to share some of the new trends in wedding entertainment along with what sort of entertainment can our attendees expect to witness at this year’s Congress.
Deva’s love for entertainment has led her to win several awards. Her biggest goal is to create entertainment with amazing ideas that bring guests to live their imaginations at the event/party. Together with her team and crew, she wants to make people believe that entertainment is an art that can create an unforgettable memory for each moment. She is dedicated to creating new performances/entertainment and giving the best service to her clients and to the entertainment industry.
What are some of the new wedding entertainment trends in 2022-23?
“Nowadays, in Indonesia’s wedding industry, the entertainment part is not only about dinner and reception performances. We start to bring these new wedding trends entertainments; such as cocktails area and after-party. Cocktails include many entertainment arts; live art decorations, live art mingle characters, and serving characters. For a futuristic after-party, we mingle character talent with super costumes and dinner show collaboration between musicians and performers.”
How has wedding entertainment changed post-COVID?
“From my point of view, it’s changed. The change is about brilliant show ideas. During the pandemic, I had a lot of time to create inspirational ideas, now it’s time for me as an artist to live the amazing ideas.”
How does it feel to be associated with the 8th annual DWP Congress as Entertainment Partner?
“Being a part of the DWP Congress means happiness and pride for me. This is an important opportunity for me and my company, especially as a native Balinese. At this event, we’ll showcase our creativity and what Bali has to offer as a destination. Our aim is to show the world in Bali there are extraordinary arts, entertainment, and worldwide culture.”
