No one can escape the charm of a destination wedding. Not even Simone Biles And Jonathan Owens as they said their ‘I Dos’ again with Cabo beach destination wedding surrounded by friends and family.
The Olympic gymnast wed her husband Jonathan Owens for a second time in Cabo San Lucas on Saturday evening. Last month, Biles and Owens legally married at the 1910 Harris County Courthouse in Houston, Texas, ahead of their destination wedding.
Biles walked down the aisle wearing a sheer corset gown with floral embellishments by designer Galia Lahav during the 140-guest affair. Over the course, she wore four different dresses. Celebrity makeup artist and hairstylist Ashley Stewart did the athlete’s glam for her beach destination dream wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The Olympian’s hair extensions were slayed by Houston-based makeup artist and hairstylist Jazmine Johnson.
Planned by Amy Abbott Events, the nuptials featured champagne, gold and white décor, as well as stunning florals. We love the wedding arch adorned with white florals of baby’s breath, roses and foliage set against the breathtaking backdrop of Cabo.
Surrounded by 8 bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen, and 140 guests, they exchanged their handwritten vows. The gymnast and the NFL star went public with their relationship in early 2020.
Their Welcome Party on Cinco de Drinko in Mexico happened accidentally. The couple partied hard with shots of alcohol and their loved ones on the beach ahead of their “I do” vows the next day.
