Here are some multi-cultural bridal couture designers that have used floral influences within their gorgeous creations.

Sassi Holford (United Kingdom)

Sassi Holford is a British designer who specialises in wedding attire. One of her most popular gowns is the ‘Blossom’ which is a London exclusive. White, ivory or blush fabrics are adorned with multicoloured floral embroideries that bring out the perfect balance between traditional and edgy for the modern bride. Accordingly, the ‘Marilyn’ gown is one that resembles an English rose in its truest form with a soft, subtle overlay and detailing on the shoulders.

Oleg Cassini (America, Russia, Italy)

Oleg Cassini is an American designer originally hailing from Russia with a long-span history of Italian ancestry.  Available at David’s Bridal, the ‘Floral Brocade Ball Gown’ is a stunning statement ball gown that epitomises a timeless silhouette gilded with regal floral brocade motifs. Accompanied by a beaded grosgrain sash topped with butterfly patterns crafted of 3,000 beads adds a whimsical touch.

Carolina Herrera is a Venezuelan fashion designer known for her remarkable, eclectic personal style. She has dressed several famous public figures. World renowned celebrities such as ; Kate Middleton (the royal heiress), Nicole Kidman (actress), Karlie Kloss (model) along with various First Ladies, including Jacqueline Onassis, Laura Bush, and Michelle Obama have been styled by the exceptional Herrera. The one of a kind, ‘Gilda Gown’ from her fall 2018 collection is a pastel lavender wedding dress with hints of light fuchsia. It has a classic V-neckline with quirky ruffled sleeves, beautifully complemented with floral appliqués and a matching veil that evokes a garden fantasy!

Another absolute stunner from Herrera’s ‘Made With Love’ 2019 bridal collection is the ‘Hadley Gown’ known for its intricately woven nature inspired elements.

According to Herrera; “The Hadley gown, an ivory bustier gown swept with delicate miniature flower detail, took 120 hours to create, including its hand-applied dusting of romantic embellishment.”

 

Galia Lahav (Israel)

Galia Lahav is a fashion designer and businesswoman of Israeli descent. Lahav’s ‘Queen of Hearts’ collection is a testimony to ethereal fairy tale like, inspired love stories. Whereas, the imperial ‘Aelin’ ballgown is adorned with sequinned flower petals cascading down its tulle pleated skirt and a sheer corset top, ‘Thea’ is a bold statement piece. The chic bohemian, floral motif embroidered half ballgown, half mermaid silhouette is draped in Swarovski crystals and sequins.
