Here’s congratulating the pioneers of the wedding photography and videography scene, ParAzar Productions for their immense contribution within the wedding world! We had an exclusive chat with Elie Azar, the Founder of ParAzar Productions who spoke to us about his incredible win at the DWP ACE Awards and the company’s journey that has been successfully woven throughout the years.
How does it feel to win this prestigious award?
I was delighted to have been considered for the award to begin with. With such a select number of professionals around the world competing for the award, winning was truly magical. It was an amazing recognition by peers and industry experts, the hard work we have invested over the years and our constant desire to improve and challenge ourselves for the better has been noticed and we cannot be happier!
How was your experience at the luxurious Destination Wedding Planners Congress 2019 that took place in Dubai?
As we are no strangers to DWP, I came to this year’s edition fully aware of how well organized the event always is and yet I was still gladly surprised by the constant improvements and additions. The richness of the event in content and presentation just keeps improving year in and year out.
What motivates you to be so active within this dynamic wedding world?
Weddings for me are not just a business activity. Having done this for so long, I can affirm that working with a couple who are preparing for the biggest moment of their shared life is truly a humanly fulfilling task. We often meet the couples on their engagement and eventually celebrate their new born birthdays. Being in the wedding world is being part of the human journey in its happiest moments. What better motivation can there be than capturing happiness and even sometimes generating it through the results we produce!
Tell us about your overall journey and how you have achieved this milestone?
ParAzar is the culmination of a career that started in 1993, after various milestones and even helping drive a previous company to success, I wanted to have a project that embodies my passion for what I do, my unflinching commitment to professionalism and ethical standards. This is why ParAzar carries in the brand itself a large chunk of my name. My team is my family and my company represents my values. When you have this in mind, hard work becomes easy because it’s simply chasing one’s own dreams.
What are some of the most gorgeous destination weddings you have captured across the globe?
It is hard to limit the selection from so many wonderful destinations we have visited. Each location has its own charm and each place has its own soul but some of the locations that come to mind in no particular order are; the Cinecittà Studios in Rome, Cliveden House in London, Château de Baronville in Paris, Villa Les Oliviers in Cap d’Antibes and Castello di Rezzonico at Lake Como in Milan.
Please provide a word of inspiration for the new, upcoming set of individuals who strive to follow in your footsteps and make it big in the wedding industry?
Never give up, never compromise and always take the high road. In a very competitive industry, it is often easy to feel tired and to give up and sometimes it is even easier to compromise on work quality or on principles. This is exactly what should not be done, it doesn’t make things easier but the public will eventually see the difference and learn to appreciate it.
