Lake Como gets ready to host an engagement party of the two scions of India’s richest families this weekend. The Ambani family just can’t contain their excitement as there is a double whammy to be celebrated! Earlier this year, Akash Ambani made headlines as he got engaged to India’s diamond mogul Russel Mehta’s daughter, Shloka Mehta in a lush ceremony that took place in Mumbai. Buzz is that the country’s most eligible bachelorette Isha Ambani is soon to be hitched to the love of her life, industrial tycoon Ajay Piramal’s son, Anand who is the chosen one. Isha and Anand have just gotten engaged in a close-knit ceremony at Lake Como, Italy known for its picturesque serenity (situated against the foothills of the Alps) on the 21st of September 2018.
The guests will be staying at one of Italy’s finest 5 star hotels, Villa D’Este.

On September 21st, a welcome lunch has been arranged titled, ‘Benvenuti A Como’- Welcome To Como which is followed by a congratulatory dinner slotted 5pm onwards at Villa Balbiano in Lake Como, ‘Amore E Bellezza’ (Love and Beauty) aptly termed in honour of celebrating a joyous occasion.
Day 2: Let The Fiesta Begin at Villa Olmo

The second day will kick off with an Italian fiesta at Villa Gastel called ‘Fiera Bella Italia’ which translates to ‘Beautiful Fair Italy’ wherein the guests are requested to be dressed in Como chic. The evening will see guests at the lavish Villa Olmo for dinner and cocktails.

The engagement is certainly going to be one memorable event with various highly acclaimed celebrities who have especially flown in in to attend the occasion. Along with close friends and family members, the ceremony was attended by the crème de la crème of the Bollywood industry, incredible sports stars and world-renowned entrepreneurs including the esteemed likes of Karan Johar, Priyanka Chopra along with beau Nick Jonas and Bollywood’s legendary leading family, the Kapoors are amongst the celebrities that graced the exuberant celebration.

It seems that Ambanis are leaving no stone unturned when it comes to following the rituals for their only daughter. The 3-day bash is designed by the extremely credible fashion house Dolce & Gabanna and and the entire artist management and organisation for this ultimate gala is being managed by Bangalore-based DNA Entertainment. And, wait for it, rumours suggest that the award-winning R&B singer John Legend is touted to perform at the finale party on the 3rd day. Bollywood musicians, singer Shaan known for crooning his romantic ballads and composer Pritam are also said to perform at the event.

Isha and Anand have been family friends for several years because of their respective families who have shared a strong bond of friendship for over four decades now.
Isha will be tying the knot with Anand who had proposed to her at a temple in Mahabaleshwar. As the rumors are to be believed she is getting married on 12th December this year in Mumbai. Whereas, Akash and Shloka are planning their wedding in March 2019.
