Christina’s favourite places to eat are Saturday mornings at the Farmer’s Market at the Waterfront – overlooking the sea, lunch at DeWerf Restaurant Boschendal Wine Estate and dinner either at Luke-Dale Roberts’ fabulous restaurants Pot Luck Club or The Test Kitchen. 
Your sojourn must be at one of these: Cape Town’s “pink lady” the famous Mount Nelson Hotel for its historic charm, fabulous gardens & high-tea; the Tintswalo Atlantic for its unbeatable setting right by the sea or the Ellerman House for taking boutique-style luxury to a new level. In the scenic Winelands and only a 30 min drive form Cape Town – cutting-edge wine estate & stud farm – ‘Cavalli’ ranks high on the list of extraordinary contemporary venues as well as Molenvliet Wine Estate for its luxurious accommodation and timeless luxurious venue space. These are just a few of the wonderful avenues you can explore to truly experience Cape Town at it’s magical best.
For all the Culture Vultures: You can spend an entire day at some of the city’s great galleries to get a feeling for African art. The brand-new Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA) is making waves across the globe for its’ focus on modern art in Africa. What’s noteworthy is that the old grain Silo it is located in has been turned into an architectural masterpiece!
For the shopaholics & connoisseurs of local offerings: ‘The Biscuit Mill’ has an incredible array of trendy local designer shops – covering food, fabulous artisan coffee, arts & crafts and quirky-chic designer commodities to take home. All made locally, just waiting to be snapped up by you.
For the Instagrammer in you- Cape Town is replete with incredibly instagrammable locales. It never gets old!! For instance, the view from the top of Table Mountain is worth more than one post. The Bo-Kap for its colourful houses and authentic, vibrant neighborhood is another Instagram showstopper.
