Brianna and Chris met in Montauk, NY at surf lodge through common friends and knew immediately that they shared a special bond. Knowing that Brianna has never been sailing before and it was always on her bucket list of things to do, Chris picked the exact opportunity to propose to her. “I had absolutely no clue he even had purchased a ring nor the thought of marriage went through his mind. To finish off the evening he planned a surprise party on our roof deck with all closest family and friends. It was a night full of tears and celebrating one I will never forget,” says Brianna.
The bride tells us that she didn’t wait to find a wedding planner and immediately found, “…someone who could help me create the wedding I had always envisioned. I wanted a destination wedding far enough from NYC so that we could create that “mini vacation feel” for all our guests, but also within a few hours driving distance so as not to alienate some or our friends. We chose Cristina Verger as our wedding planner who immediately understood what we were trying to achieve, and she introduced us to the venue we used, Winvian farm in Connecticut. Between myself and Cristina every detail of our weekend was perfect! Every vendor Cristina brought on as part of her team was amazing! Every guest that attended made our wedding a night I will never forget.”
