Aston Martin’s Art Of Living Heads To Japan This February

Just in time for Valentine’s day, the luxury British sports car will be reintroducing its unique Art of Living experiences for 2018, which will give exclusive experiences to guests who would like to holiday, the Aston Martin way. The new experiences are in vein of the company’s announcement of its newest dealership opening in Japan – set to be its biggest selling in the world – Aston Martin has revealed details of a special ice driving programme for 007 aficionados in the area.

Hokkaido On Ice is Aston Martin’s first programme of its kind in the Japanese market and follows similar events that have taken place in Europe and North America. A range of models are presented to guests against the spectacular backdrop of Japan’s northernmost island with its dramatic backdrop of volcanos, ski resorts and a stunning national park. Under the tutelage of expert drivers, guests will learn how to control a car in the slippery conditions, pushing themselves and the cars to the limit.

The programme, which runs from 8-12 February 2018, will also put guests up in luxurious accommodation in the east of Hokkaido, with private open-air Onsen baths as well as the choice of either traditional Japanese or Western-style beds. “Our Hokkaido On Ice programme places guests at the heart of one of the most stunning locations in the world, and behind the wheel of equally beautiful cars,” said Patrik Nilsson, president of Aston Martin Asia Pacific. “We strive to create unforgettable experiences through our Art of Living programme, and Hokkaido On Ice is perhaps the ultimate illustration of this,” he adds.
