Where Stories Begin on Paper: Elevating Wedding Storytelling with our Invites & Stationery Partner, Megha Beria Designs

Every unforgettable wedding begins with a story, and more often than not, that story is first whispered through the art of stationery. As the excitement builds for DWP Congress Macao 2026, we are thrilled to unveil our Invites & Stationery Partner, Megha Beria Designs, a studio where emotion meets artistry in the most captivating way.

Helmed by Megha Beria, the brand has swiftly carved a niche for itself with its signature blend of minimalism, rich textures, and dreamy watercolor detailing. Her creations don’t just sit pretty on paper; they evoke, they connect, and they linger. Each piece is layered with meaning, crafted with intention, and designed to leave an unforgettable imprint.

At DWP Macao, Megha brings this evocative design language to a global stage, redefining how stories are told through tactile beauty. In this exclusive interview, we dive into her world, exploring the inspiration, philosophy, and artistry behind her work, and uncovering what makes her creations truly one of a kind.

Where Art Evolves into Identity

My journey began with art at a very young age. I started learning when I was five, and creativity has been my language ever since. At 19, I began freelancing while completing my education, slowly understanding that design wasn’t just a passion but something I wanted to build a life around. After studying Product and Graphic Design and working on projects early in my career, I took a leap of faith in 2022 and founded my studio.

Relocating cities, rebuilding from scratch, and navigating a competitive industry weren’t easy, but resilience and belief carried me forward. Over time, consistency, discipline, and staying true to my aesthetic helped me carve a niche of my own. Today, what began as a love for art has evolved into a global design practice rooted in storytelling, craftsmanship, and intention.

Painted in Water, Rooted in Emotion

Minimalism layered with emotion and craftsmanship. Watercolor plays a strong role in my aesthetic. It brings softness, fluidity, and a sense of individuality to every piece. I focus on creating tactile experiences, blending paper, texture, print techniques, and thoughtful detailing to ensure each design feels personal and intentional.

My approach is deeply story-driven rather than trend-led. I believe in staying true to my artistic voice while translating a client’s personality into something timeless, elegant, and meaningful.

DWP Congress 2026: A Global Stage for Creativity Connection & Collaboration

Partnering with DWP Congress 2026 felt like a natural progression in my journey. The confidence to step onto a global platform came after designing for large-scale weddings across India and internationally, and collaborating with some of the most respected names in the industry. Those experiences strengthened not just my portfolio, but my belief in the value of my work.

DWP represents excellence, global dialogue, and innovation in the luxury wedding space, and I felt ready to contribute to that conversation. It’s an opportunity to build meaningful international relationships while proudly showcasing Indian artistry on a world stage.

An Inspiring Blend of Global Luxury & Cultural Richness

I believe attendees can expect an inspiring blend of global luxury, cultural richness, and meaningful connection in Macao. It’s incredible to witness how diverse perspectives, traditions, and aesthetics merge seamlessly to create one unforgettable day for a couple.

Macao’s East-meets-West character makes it the perfect setting for this exchange of ideas. Beyond networking, it’s a space where global creativity, collaboration, and cultural appreciation come together to shape the future of destination weddings.

Designed to Be Felt, Not Just Seen

With just a month to go, we’re working on a series of immersive, experiential pieces that truly reflect our signature aesthetic. We’re designing bespoke invitation concepts, beautifully detailed menu cards, thoughtfully curated diaries, and a selection of meaningful goodies that feel both elegant and intentional.

Each element is being crafted with layered textures, refined finishes, and subtle watercolor accents, staying true to our artistic voice. The goal is to create something tactile and memorable, not just visually beautiful, but a small glimpse into how we approach storytelling through design.

Three Trends Rewriting Modern Weddings

The three strongest trends I’m seeing are sustainability, quiet luxury with a “less is more” approach, and deeper storytelling through tactile art. Couples today are becoming far more conscious; they want mindful materials, thoughtful production, and pieces that feel purposeful rather than excessive. Quiet luxury is replacing loud opulence; it’s about refined details, elevated textures, and understated elegance that speaks softly but powerfully.

For the DWP Macao experience, I’m incorporating these through intentional material choices, minimal yet layered design, and tactile elements that invite touch, pause, and connection.

Storytelling as the Heart of Design

Storytelling is at the very heart of how I design; it defines us and what we truly stand for. For me, wedding stationery is not just about conveying information; it’s about translating emotion, identity, and legacy into something tangible. The invitation becomes the first chapter of the celebration, setting the tone for everything that follows.

When storytelling leads the process, the design feels authentic, timeless, and deeply personal, not just beautiful, but meaningful.
