“Stay positive in every situation and everything you do, never stop trying, have faith don’t stop due to failure”- Anurag Prakash Ray
Well, when love is true, nothing can come in between. Not even Coronavirus. Of course, it’s not easy to say ‘I do,’ when a pandemic is going on, but this couple, Cherry and Howard stayed positive and took precaution for themselves and everyone who attended their wedding. Hong Kong has 386 positive cases, and of course, the guests and the couple were worried initially, but it all worked out in the end for them. This wedding is a wonderful example of optimism and inspires us to think about finding alternative solutions instead of canceling the wedding.
Cherry and Howard met on an app in 2015, while Cherry was only back to Hong Kong for a month. They tied the knot this year on the 22nd of February in W Hotel, Hong Kong. This is what will be remembered in the future, the wedding in unprecedented times.
At times like these, it becomes imperative to take proper precautions. Everybody present at the venue made sure to prioritize safety first. Sanitizers were placed at the reception before entering the hall. Guests and vendors; including the makeup artist, choir, and the priest, wore masks. What we regarded the most is that the couple endeavored to laugh. They expanded some breathtaking experiences and guaranteed that they regard these memories until the consummation of time.
“I was touched by capturing this wedding since it’s not easy to live in Hong Kong now and in this period of time, we cherish each other more and you can feel this when capturing their unforgettable moments.” – Paul Wong, Paul Wong Fine Art Photography, Hong Kong.
