What We Loved About Elie Saab Jr’s Wedding!

Touted as one of the most legendary weddings of the year, world-renowned bridal designer Elie Saab’s son, Elie Saab Jr and Christina Mourad tied the knot in Lebanon earlier this week! The luxurious 3-day celebration saw several Lebanese stars in attendance including the likes of the Lebanese Prime Minister, Mr. Saad Hariri along with International celebrities, Dita Von Teese, Toni Garrn, Sara Sampaio, Alina Baikova, Karolina Kurkova, Lily Donaldson, and Bianca Brandolini, etc.

The festivities kicked off with a pre-wedding bash at Le Plateau de Bakish followed by a glamorous reception at the Faqra Club. The wedding ceremony took place at the regal Church of Bkerke in Lebanon, situated near Beirut. Swarming with over 1000 guests, starry performances by Nancy Ajram, Michel Fadel, Assi El Hallani and Elissa were surely some of the key highlights of the incredible revels.

The gorgeous bride stunned one and all with three magical ensembles designed by her father-in-law, Elie Saab. For the pre-wedding Arabian night, she donned a gilt modern outfit. The matrimonial ceremony saw her in a ‘custom ELIE SAAB Haute Couture gown with an elaborate display of embroidery from the headpiece to the veil and the royal gown was synonymous with the Maison’s signature Haute Couture craftsmanship’ as stated by Elie Saab. For the post-wedding revelries, Christina chose an glimmering, embellished ballgown along with a grand veil that was embroidered with 100,000 gold sequins, helmed by Elie Saab.

In all its entirety, the nuptial ceremony was bedecked by Neiman Azzi and the lavish celebrations were planned and designed by the Middle Eastern maestro Ziad Raphael Nassar of Once by Ziad Nassar.

The mouth-watering delicacies were catered by Cuizina and sweet treats along with the magnificent, ivory five-tier wedding cake was created by Cat and Mouth Catering.
