The main villa, very elegant and very well presented also has some interesting and important historic notes. Many of you may know that Lake Como was one of Winston Churchill’s favourite places and that he loved to paint. In 1945 he resided at the villa during one of his Lake Como stays and enjoyed the characteristic Brienno! In fact there is also a plaque on the facade of the villa indicating this bit of history!
