Rising majestically from the still waters of its moat, surrounded by five hundred acres of parkland and gardens, Leeds Castle in Kent is the most romantic of country settings, so close as it is to London.
The Castle and adjacent Maiden’s Tower provide an exceptional venue for an exclusive wedding, tailored to meet your requirements by our experienced Wedding Co-ordinators. From the initial enquiry to the day itself, you will receive an exceptional level of service to ensure the perfect wedding at “the loveliest castle in the world”.
During its 900 year history, Leeds Castle has been a Norman stronghold, the private property of six of England’s medieval Queens and a palace used by Henry VIII and his first wife Catherine of Aragon. More recently, the Castle was an elegant early 20th century playground for the rich and famous, as Lady Baillie, the last private owner, entertained Royalty, the political elite and stars of the silver screen. That same sumptuous décor is what greets you today in the Castle, from the beautiful green Ceremony Room, to the medieval Banqueting Hall and the fabulous State Bedrooms with their four poster beds and classic marble en-suite bathrooms.
