The location is a delight, understated simplicity and elegance, and the views out to the west across the islands and caldera breath-taking. The constantly changing light is magical, especially in the evenings. It's also a quiet, private place where you are not overlooked and you feel on top of the world. The meal we had on the first night was simply delicious, using local produce and wines from known local growers. So, we tried 'eating in' again, and then again, and again. The interest in food and wine is obvious and we were privileged to enjoy it with you. George, the chef is a master, and the fish dishes are very special. You made us feel as though we were with family and we don't think there's anything more you could have done to make our stay any more enjoyable and memorable. “ Dear Erosantorini We wanted to thank all of you for an incredible stay at Erosantorini. For our group of 5 - grandparents, parents and our two-year-old, we could not have chosen a more perfect and idylic place to enjoy Santorini for the first time. We found Erosantorini a truly unique place on the island where you are conveniently located to explore all the wonders of Santorini (which we did energetically every day!) but after a busy day out in the summer heat, you return to Erosantorini and you feel like you are in your own little piece of heaven. The serenity of the estate, jaw dropping views, stunning infinity pools and shady breezy alcoves are the perfect antidote to a hot busy day in the sun. A special thanks to you who made us feel completely at home but created a sense of understated luxury through a truly enchanting and bespoke experience from the delicious meals we had, to the many recommended excursions to cultural sites, beaches, boat trips etc. We also tried many of the top recommended restaurants from guidebooks across the island but nothing came close to the quality of the delicious and varied breakfasts, lunches and dinners your in-house chefs prepared for us. " We just wanted to say a big thank you to you all for making our holiday so special. We will always remember our 25th anniversary because we were in a unique place with lovely people. Erosantorini truly is a beautiful spot. Everything was completely catered to our tastes and the service was second to none. We feel privileged to have visited such a wonderful place. Food was tasty and plentiful and it was great to sample lots of delicious Greek specialities - we are going to try to cook some of them at home. We have had Greek wines at home but the wines that were recommended during our stay were really fantastic. We will be trying to source these in the UK. We had one evening eating elsewhere and one sightseeing trip outside of the villa, but we were glad to get back to the quiet and peaceful surroundings of Erosantorini. Your food was better! Thank you for being such excellent and informative hosts, we really appreciate everything you have done for us during our stay. We have learned a lot about Greek culture and Santorini too.
