With the light of 764 candles from Nadia Stiatti Flowers, following and idea of Simona, while Marco Caputo and I were capturing the images. Elegance and semplicity, sophistication and refinement; we were able to capture the love that was in the air that night.

Elopment in Tuscany

My wife Helen and I would like to thank Simona for her professionalism during the course of organizing our wedding, but really do not know where to start. We had made the decision to elope from Scotland and have our wedding in Italy. The process initially seemed complex and quite daunting after many hours researching on the internet, countless companies not returning calls, then Helen found our dream location, the beautiful "Borgo Santo Pietro". The wedding coordinator here recomended the services of Simona and from the very first point of contact with her it was a walk in the park. Simona's immense knowledge of international law and Tuscany was opened up to us and simplified the whole process of documentation, the timings of each stage of our special day and completely put our minds at ease. She has the unique ability to organise efficiently but at the same time make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Working to our fixed budget, Simona was also able to assist with the most beautiful floral details for us based on our request to still have a little "nod" to Helen's Scottish roots, arranged the hairdresser, makeup artist, even liased with our choice of photographer (Andrea Fabbrini) and the local mayors office. All my worries that Helen would be missing out on having a friend by her side with preparations on the day, someone to help her into her wedding dress etc., were all needless. Simona was by her side for as long as required and nothing was too much trouble for her. Our preference was to have a legally binding marriage performed in Italy therefore Simona advised a legal ceremony at the local Town Hall of Chiusdino followed by a symbolic ceremony performed by her at Borgo, later in the afternoon. She was able to use her local knowledge, contacts and expertise to arrange all this for us, seamlessly. Even using her own vehicle to collect and transport us on the day and act as witness for us at the Town Hall. I can honestly say that by collaboration with Simona, Helen and I were presented with a wonderful, memorable day and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her services for anyone requiring assistance with a wedding in Italy.

Dreams come true

Above & Beyond Tuscan Weddings helped us plan our wedding in Chianti, Tuscany. We stayed in beautiful Villa Vistarenni for our three-day wedding celebration. Simona Coltellini from Above & Beyond Tuscan Weddings is a miracle maker! She is professional and easy to work with. She put our thoughts and wishes into reality and it was fun planning our wedding with her. She kept us on track with quick and transparent communication and made everything so simple and easy from afar. We went to Tuscany for a few days in February 2016 for the food and wine tasting, to check the venue and talk to the florist. Simona made our stay there so comfortable and easy. She offered herself to be the chauffeur when we went to see the vendors, and of course this was perfect as we really enjoyed the food and wine tasting! Our wedding day arrived and Simona was there from the morning to late night and made sure everything was perfect the whole way through. We couldn't believe how beautiful everything looked. Simona created our dream wedding and we enjoyed every moment of it. The tasty Italian food and the fine wines, the music equipment and lights, my hair and make up, the flowers and my bridal bouquet were just Above and Beyond my expectations! We are thankful to Simona for her expertise and support. We are forever grateful for the work, commitment, passion and enthusiasm that she demonstrated for our wedding. Those three days were the best days of our lives! We absolutely recommend Simona as your wedding planner if you are planning a wedding in sunny Tuscany!

Overseas wedding planning

There is no way I could have planned an overseas wedding without Simona's help. From recommending suppliers to liaising with the venue, she was indispensable in bringing every last detail together. She was always available to talk and travelled to and from the venue and to meet me whenever I needed her help, including with suppliers in various cities many times in the year before the wedding. She's really easy to talk to, and always stays extremely calm, even in the face of a crisis! She took care of my mother's needs and was fantastic with my kids, bringing together everything behind the scenes with subtlety and grace. We would recommend Simona to anyone!
