Tuesday, I was through with hoping
Wednesday, my empty arms were open
Thursday, waiting for love, waiting for love
I’m burning like a fire gone wild on Saturday
Guess I won’t be coming to church on Sunday
I’ll be waiting for love, waiting for love to come around.
When Avicii sang these lines, we felt the need of waiting for love throughout the week! As he said, love can come around, anytime. You just have to wait for it with open arms.
It’s 2022 and it’s no longer the time when couples specifically want a Saturday or Sunday for their wedding. Weekdays weddings are one of the top 22 trends for 2022 weddings! Every day is a wedding day! Expanding wedding days from simply Wednesday through Sunday is a refreshing push to explore alternate days.

Sometimes the star vendor team you’re looking for sends their representatives if they have to attend another project which coincides with your date. A weekday wedding means there are more chances you can have your fav team for your wedding. In times like these, when the wedding planning timeframe has been reduced, booking a weekday wedding is an especially good idea if you’ve got a tight timeline. Your dream wedding venue which might be booked on weekends may be available for you on weekdays. Worth a shot, if the date doesn’t matter to you!

Many people work during the week, which means they would likely have to take a vacation day in order to attend your wedding. Unfortunately, this may result in some of your friends or relatives declining your invitation. But don’t let this take away your mood. For one thing, we know the ones who are the most important wouldn’t let anything (much less a day of the week) stop them from celebrating your big day. We advise you to run by the dates by your VIPs and if possible, have the ceremony in the evening. This way those who have a regular 9-5 can finish their work and still be a part of your day.
Laid Back & Intimate

Lesser people mean it will be more intimate and relaxed. This means you will have a cozier time with the ones who really matter the most. It also allows you to get more creative with the setup and design. Knowing fewer people are part of your ceremony means you can modify the traditional aspects and add more luxurious elements that you like. How about having a large opulent dining setup instead of many roundtables? It also takes off the burden from the couple to ensure that all their guests are taken care of.
Extended Celebrations

With everything that’s occurred in 2020, many will crave socializing and reconnecting at your wedding regardless of the day of the week. A weekday wedding is a great way to extend the celebrations and make the most of the local area you’re staying in, especially if you’re planning a regional destination wedding. Your guests will be grateful for a mini-break away from home, and you could even organize some fun pre and post-wedding events like winery visits, long lunches or nature hikes.
