Organized by QnA International in partnership with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) and the Jordan Tourism Board, the event was held under the purview of His Excellency Shadi Ramzi Abd Al-Salam Al-Majali, Chief Commissioner of ASEZA, whose vision and leadership played a pivotal role in bringing this global celebration to Aqaba.

From the moment attendees of the DWP Congress landed in Aqaba, they were enveloped in a warm and authentic Jordanian welcome. The event commenced with a warm and gracious welcome from our Master of Ceremonies, Bassam Nader, setting the tone for an inspiring gathering. This was followed by a series of distinguished addresses, beginning with His Excellency Shadi Ramzi Abd Al-Salam Al-Majali, Chief Commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority. Day 1 Of The Conference: 8th October 2025
Following a dreamy first day filled with unforgettable moments and a dazzling welcome cocktail, the conference officially kicked off in style. The ballroom, transformed into a stunning venue by our exceptional Conference AV Partner, 969 Event Organizer, Conference Floral Partner Fifth Flower, and Conference & Gala Dinner Furniture Partner, The Source Events, set the perfect tone for the day. The décor also included beautifully crafted journals placed on each table, thoughtfully designed by our talented Stationery Partner, Nahhal Printing Group. Attendees were welcomed with a vibrant and entertaining performance by Maher Dababneh, followed by an inspiring address by His Excellency Shadi Ramzi Abd Al-Salam Al-Majali, Chief Commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), followed by Dr. Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat, Managing Director of Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), and Mr. Sidh NC, Director of QnA International, marking the beginning of what promises to be an extraordinary journey at the DWP Congress.
Following a series of inspiring talks, the spotlight turned to Coral Santoro, the legendary digital influencer from Argentina, who delivered the highly anticipated opening keynote. With her signature charisma and depth, Santoro shared powerful insights on cultivating resilient, visionary leadership in times of uncertainty. Her session emphasized the importance of adaptability, purpose-driven strategy, and bold decision-making—offering attendees a compelling roadmap for thriving amid disruption.
Julian Posner of Banana Split, UK—renowned for orchestrating Sofia Richie’s iconic wedding—took the stage following an electrifying opening keynote at DWP. In a stirring address, he challenged the industry to look beyond fleeting trends and social media spectacles, asking: What does it truly mean to craft a wedding that transcends time? Posner urged planners to rediscover the soul of celebration, where elegance, emotion, and human connection form the foundation of events that leave a lasting legacy.
Following Julian Posner’s compelling presentation, Terrica took the stage with an unapologetically bold and empowering session that resonated deeply with wedding professionals, luxury creators, and service entrepreneurs. Her message was clear and powerful: we are not meant to settle, but to rise, refine, and reign. Speaking with conviction and clarity, she unpacked the real difference between a proposal that gets read and one that gets signed.
The conference continued with an inspiring session led by Salaam Malki, who invited attendees to explore a vital element in crafting unforgettable celebrations: the destination. Her presentation spotlighted Aqaba, a place where ancient excellence meets timeless elegance. From its rich heritage to its breathtaking landscapes, Aqaba offers more than beauty—it offers permanence. Salaam Malki emphasized how Aqaba’s majestic spirit serves as a muse for designing weddings and events that transcend the ordinary, transforming moments into memories that last forever.
After an inspiring session with Salaam Malki, guests enjoyed a rather engaging panel discussion amongst world-renowned planners- Mohammad Al Azab, Ayla Jordan, Precious The Planner, Richard Simmons & Ziad Raphael Nassar. The panel was chaired by the legendary Joanne Gregoli and focused on challenging yourself to move beyond borders, physical and emotional, and embracing a new age of destination celebrations. The panel explored how each wedding becomes a delicate orchestration of elemental forces: Earth, representing the grounding partnerships that build trust; Fire, the burning passion to create something magical; Air, the breath of vision that uplifts teams and dreams; Ether, the intangible feeling of transcendence and meaning; and finally, the secret sixth element—Unity.
Following these insightful sessions, it’s time for the much-awaited Coffee and Networking break — a cherished interlude where attendees can unwind, recharge, and engage in meaningful conversations.
The first day of the conference concluded at the Atelier with a series of insightful masterclasses led by brilliant minds, including Sumant Jayakrishnan, Beth Helmstetter, Ashley Powell, and Sasha Mekhedova. Covering themes from sustainability and AI to influence and legacy, each session offered a fresh perspective on creativity and purpose.
A Dazzling Gala Night At Ayla Golf Course
Following an inspiring and knowledge-filled day at the conference, attendees were treated to an unforgettable evening at the dazzling Gala Night. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Ayla Golf, the event unfolded like a dream—an exquisite celebration of connection, culture, and creativity.
The magic of the evening was brought to life by our Gala Dinner and Closing Event Partner, MY Event Design, led by the visionary mother-daughter duo Majeda Kassir Bisharat and Sewar Bisharat. The evening featured inspiring speeches by Majeda and Sewar Bisharat, followed by an insightful session with Sirin Masri, Executive Creative Director at Ayla Oasis Development Company.
Guests were treated to a dazzling evening of celebration and recognition at this year’s prestigious DWP Insider Powerlist Gala Night. The event not only honored the distinguished individuals featured in the Powerlist but also spotlighted some of the world’s most renowned destination wedding photographers, who were awarded for their exceptional contributions to the industry. It was a night of glamour, inspiration, and heartfelt appreciation for creative excellence.
The visual storytelling of the night was masterfully captured by our Gala Dinner Visual Partner, Andrei Visuals, whose cinematic lens added depth and emotion to every moment. Behind the scenes, The Staging Crew, our Gala Dinner Production Partner, orchestrated a flawless production that elevated the entire experience with precision and creativity. Adding the final touch of sophistication and style, our Makeup and Hairstyling Partners, Faris & Hamzeh Alzagha from Aqaba, ensured that every presenter and performer looked absolutely flawless, perfectly complementing the night’s glamour and grandeur. After the second day of the Congress ended with a bang, it’s time for Day 3. The day began with the Registrations, Networking, and Welcome Refreshments, followed by Morning Raffles & Networking at the Regency Ballroom. After these engaging sessions, it’s time for an enlightening session with Daniel Langer. This session focused on the visionary 4E Framework. These include Emotion, Experience, Engagement, and Exclusivity, the new pillars of refined celebration. From scent to sound, taste to tactile, and sight to something deeper.
In a heartfelt session led by Nikki Khan, attendees were invited to reconnect with the deeper purpose behind their craft as wedding planners. The transformative experience explored how mindful awareness and emotional intuition could elevate event planning into a soulful art form. From tuning into one’s inner space to designing from the inside out, Nikki guided planners to embrace emotion, energy, and storytelling as the true foundations of meaningful, intentional design.
Following Nikki Khan’s inspiring session, Kevin Lee takes the stage to challenge the industry’s comfort zones. In his talk, A Time Traveler’s Playbook for Experience Design, Kevin invites planners, venues, destinations, and suppliers to rethink the emotional architecture of luxury events. He questions everyone about the outdated traditions they are clinging to and what bold opportunities they are overlooking. Through his session, he encouraged everyone to break rules that no longer serve.
The next session had the legendary Vandana Mohan, who talked about how weddings are evolving into deeply personalized, emotionally resonant experiences that blend authenticity with digital storytelling. From the altar to the after-party, it highlights how every moment can be curated to reflect the couple’s unique love story—capturing the “light within love” and transforming it into a legacy that lives on in digital eternity.
After these insightful sessions, it’s time for the much-awaited Innovation Pod. Led by the brilliant minds- Kaival Patel, Christina Holt, Aseel Ansari & Ghada Blanco. These sessions explore the art of luxury destination weddings through multicultural storytelling, seamless client journeys, and regal aesthetics, while also addressing succession planning for enduring legacies and leadership transitions. From transforming local landscapes into global love stories to crafting royal bridal experiences and operational excellence, each talk offers insights into building emotionally intelligent, culturally rich, and future-ready wedding brands.
The conference concluded with a coffee break, structured B2B meetings, and a series of raffles to mark the closing moments.
Closing Cocktail Reception At Mama Gaia
After a day brimming with inspiring insights, attendees made their way to the enchanting setting of Mama Gaia for a spectacular finale. The closing cocktail reception embraced the bold spirit of a Disco Bedouin party, seamlessly blending the timeless soul of the desert with the electric energy of the coast.
