Safety is the first thing that comes to everybody’s mind while planning or attending a wedding in the current times. It was a bubble wedding created by Innaz Communique with a complete buyout of the property, to keep everyone safe. Impeccable safety measures helped to make this couple’s dream wedding come true. All guests and vendors had to stay in the hotel for the duration of the wedding, if they left for whatever reason, they were not permitted to enter back in. 1-2 days before the wedding, all guests and vendors were PCR Tested at the convenience of their own homes, once we got their negative result, they were then sent a QR code on their phone, which would give them a hotel booking and entry into the hotel for the duration of the two days.
Engagement
There’s something refreshingly beautiful about fresh florals as backdrops. The decor was elegant and simple with a green and red theme. These colors are predominantly used in Indian weddings and are considered a sign of good luck.
Indian Night (Sangeet)
It was a perfect mix of cross-cultural elements in the sangeet evening. Moroccon concept meets Indian fusion. Rajasthani Mughal-themed decor added a royal touch. The couple’s grand entrance was through the LED screen backdrop stage where the screen doors opened, and the couple entered with the dancers who then performed Swag Se Swagat.
After Party
Day 2 of the events started by Vanvah Pooja for Boy’s Side. For the wedding, baby’s breath and light pink floral decor were used to create an elegant mandap, with all the prayer items and chaadar being made of Mirrors and baby’s breath and jasmine flowers to compliment the stunning design.
Catering for the entire wedding was by Queens Tandoor Jakarta and The Westin Hotel. Food was constantly flowing from morning till night, with breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner and supper. Some highlights of the menu were: Charcoal infused black dahl, avocado bhel puri for high tea, lobster thermidor, duck dosa.
Reception
After the pandemic, we were certainly looking for some serious luxury decor inspiration and this wedding was oozing opulence. The theme was ‘Diamonds are Forever.’ Everything was bling, with hanging chandeliers for this seated dinner. The highlight of the night was an upside-down hanging cake that was suspended from the ceiling, which came down once the couple was ready to cut the cake. The decor on this night was extravagant and bling, with diamonds and crystals. And the performance by Eva Scolaro added groove and jazz. Orange Production did the LED and Laser Light Show for guests.
“Over the past 12 months, we had been presented with a challenge on how we would not only create an event that was going to be a jewel to the eyes of our guests but also a safety factor to them. I feel like we were given one chance to prove to people that it would be safe to slowly take that step towards having a celebration where you could have your closest friends and family with you.
