Sneha and Rajan’s New York nuptials kicked off 2019 with a bang, as they tied the knot in a three day extravaganza complete with traditional Indian rituals and customaries. The unique revelries struck a chord with one and all as #MehtaForceBeWithYou took several social media platforms by storm! Planned by the fabulous Sonal Shah and her marvellous team at S.J.S Events under four months with over a hundred vendors, the lavish affair was filled with an abundance of spectacular occasions.
The breath-taking Mehendi (Henna) night took place at the iconic ‘New York Public Library’ on Fifth Avenue! The glorious celebration consisted of incredibly talented henna artists, decadent delicacies and a joyful plethora of guests that danced the night away to Bollywood chartbusters.
The Garba night is a big bash with traditional Gujarati folk song and dance. The plush affair was hosted at the colossal Cipriani Wall Street and had a Moroccan themed décor. Floral ornamentations coupled with exotic fruits took the festive ambiance to a whole new level! The guests were treated with a lavish spread of mouth watering gourmet food and a night full of Garba dancing, a cultural nod to Indian traditions.
Sneha stunned her fiancé as well as the guests present with her chosen bridal attire; an exquisite crimson red, white and green timeless designer lehenga. The groom did not shy away from stealing the limelight from his beautiful bride to be as he made a classy entry in a vibrant red Ferrari! The delighted duo exchanged vows amongst near and dear ones in a Indian ceremonial.
The reception of dreams took place at the opulent ballroom in The Plaza which was converted into a whimsical secret garden with “Emerald Green” themed décor. The guests savoured several scrumptious delectable, molecular culinary masterpieces and an astonishing seven-tiered wedding cake with geometric accents and velvety emerald green fondant. The joyous celebration came to an end with such amazing, awe-inspiring elements!
