Sibel and Ilir and met through mutual friends 3 years ago who all said that they would be great for each another. At that time, neither of them were looking to be in a relationship so nothing came out of it. However, a few months had past and lo and behold they crossed paths by chance once again, I guess you could say the rest is history!
Sibel’s dress was by J’Aton Couture that was custom-made according to her personal style as she didn’t want a traditional wedding gown. Sibel recalls; “I feel that J’Aton represented that for me. I wanted something completely unique, modern and with a little bit of edge. I couldn’t go past the neckline, the sleeve, the buttons, the fusion of the two dresses in one with the two fabrics! Anthony and Jacob are amazing, it was pure perfection, absolute masterpiece!” She paired the bespoke gown with gorgeous YSL Tribute II heels in shadow pink. Whilst Ilir donned a contemporary suit by Dior.
The ceremony took place in the Cliff Edge Cabana at Alila Uluwatu, a stunning wooden architecturally designed open-air cabana perched dramatically over the Indian Ocean.
The magnificent cake was 5-tiered statement piece which complimented the overall décor and design with florals to match. Each and every intricate detail was beautifully executed by Ixora Cakes.
The founder of Global Weddings, Narelle Williams divulged that; through our consultation with Sibel and Ilir we discovered they were a modern and stylish couple wanting to give their guests an unforgettable experience along with factoring in a warm inviting setting. In turn we created a design brief built with classic clean lines – from the timeless white bentwood chairs through to a simple colour pallete with romantic, elegant touches. The reception was a wonderful celebratory affair with a beautiful warm ambience with candles and classic chandeliers.
