The Great Wall of China is one of the greatest sights in the world — the longest wall in the world which took almost 1800 years to build. It’s the only building visible from space that has a glory that’s second to none. Along with the most striking landscape, the place also offers you the choice of commune villas or private villas to perform your wedding ceremony.

Taj Mahal – the most famous and beautiful enduring monument to love and a magnificent embodiment of Shah Jahan’s deep affection for his wife, this mausoleum is one of the seven wonders of the world that features the finest architectural elements and ornate gemstone décor on ivory-white marble. It’s surrounded by manicured gardens and a longitudinal fountain, which makes it one of the picture-perfect destinations to tie the knot.

Petra, Jordan

Famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system, Petra is also called the ‘Rose Red City’ because of the color of the stone from which it is carved. Jordan is an amazingly beautiful country with epic locations and breathtaking beauty. From wonders of the world and royal resting places to tales of crusaders, intricately carved monuments, labyrinthine passageways, and mysterious history, Petra has a spirit of adventure immersed in deep history. You can wed in front of the Treasury ‘Al-Khazneh’ which is one of the most elaborate temples in Petra, a city of the Nabatean Kingdom, where Arabs lived in ancient times.

The Colosseum, Rome

We guess that the quote ‘Rome was not built in a day’ is inspired by The Colosseum, the largest amphitheater that represents the sanctity of Roman greatness. Although you cannot marry inside the Colosseum, you can take pictures against the backdrop of one of the seven wonders of the planet and make your wedding go down the line in history.

Christ the Redeemer Statue, Brazil

It has long been one of the most romantic and photographed spots on the planet. Towering 2,310 feet above the city of Rio, the Christ the Redeemer statue has fascinated couples from around the world to get married there. Located in Rio de Janeiro, Christ the Redeemer, or Cristo Redentor in its native Portuguese, looks down over the city from the top of a mountain deep in a national park.  The best part is that in 2006, the Brazilian Catholic Church also extended its arms to allow couples to get married under the outstretched arms of the iconic Christ Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. There is a small Catholic chapel at the base of the statue which is dedicated to the patron saint of Brazil.

Machu Picchu, Peru

Peru offers a romantic wedding like no other, where snow-capped mountains, desert dunes, ocean waters, ancient ruins, and lush jungles passionately welcome you and your beloved. An interesting fact about this place is that each stone at Machu Picchu was precisely cut to fit together so tightly that no mortar was needed to keep the walls standing. Machu Picchu ruins are one of the most extreme and impressive destinations for a wedding, honeymoon, or romantic getaway. Although ceremonies are not permitted inside the park, you can choose other special sites from the nearby Sacred Valley.

Nothing compares to the amazing, romantic ambiance a Colonial Mexican Hacienda brings to a destination wedding event.  Couples wishing to have an unforgettable wedding may choose to turn their Wedding Day into a mini-vacation, that costs a fraction of a U.S. wedding with the added token of an exotic and magical place. Chichen-Itza, with its impressive Maya cultural legacy and Colonial heritage, is your best wedding destination in Yucatan. Not only does it offer timeless beauty and magic, but many great cultural and eco-friendly activities to spend a great mini-vacation with your friends and family prior to your wedding ceremony gala.
