This Mexican Intimate Ceremony By The Beach Has Wholesome Boho Vibes

Jessica & Emma’s wedding took place in Acapulco, Guerrero; México on March 19th, 2022. Planned by Evelyn Paz, Founder of Event Flow, a renowned wedding planning agency from Mexico, it was an intimate affair with a boho flair.

We got in touch with Evelyn to know their wedding journey in detail! She shares- “I met Jessica ten years ago when we both were working at the same Corporate Center at HR. We became pretty good and close friends. Then each one of us took different paths and started our family lives. There’s when Jessica met Emma and they were highly meant to be. I met Emma some years ago, during one of his birthday parties. They were already living together. Knowing Jessica, I knew that she wasn’t really into the marriage subject, but then, surprisingly she told me that Emma and she, were ready to take the big step and they wanted me to be the one helping them with all the wedding.”

Emma’s family is from Hidalgo, so some local venues from there appeared on the list. Some vineyards did as well, but Emma was looking for a really partying time. And if the party is your middle name, there’s no other place than the beach to get married. They fell in love with one of the best venues you can throw a wedding in Acapulco: Tres Vidas.

This venue had everything: the landscape, the privacy, the spot for the civil wedding a day before, and the wedding room!

“As one of my favorite places for doing weddings is the beach, I‘ve done many at Acapulco, so we had plenty of good suppliers so the couple could choose and make their dream come true.” Shares Evelyn.

The couple wanted something simple, but cool. A touch of boho but is also elegant. And the important part the groom asked for: some black details. So, I talked to many florist designers, until we got to the one that fits much better to our mood board. Coco y Blanc executed it so well and we got such a good outcome! She used some orchids for the main table, and for some of the centerpieces. And one of the most important items for our visual design was getting some tables with these tall bases where some boho lamps were hanging toward the table.

To add a touch of romance, Evelyn adorned it further with candles to the cocktail spot, which was an open space, and it was a spectacle to watch the shores from the dinner table.

The sight was beautiful. On one hand, you could be looking at the couple, at the same time as the waves hitting the sand, and the most beautiful part: the sunset arising.

The catering was offered by Cilantro Art Gourmet and it was impeccably executed! The party went until 6 AM in the dawn with the help of groovy music offered by VB Events!

In the end, you can feel the big smile on the couples’ faces that they thoroughly enjoyed the whole process and the radiance emanated by this beautiful couple is reflected in all their photos.

Evelyn adds- “I couldn’t be much happier; on one side, one of my most estimated friends was getting married and, on the other hand, I felt so honored they picked me as their wedding planner.”
