Supermodel Kate Upton and sportsman Justin Verlander’s Tuscan wedding nuptials in November were just as fabulous as you’d imagine. The intimate wedding was planned by 2018 DWP Congress speaker Lisa Vorce at the Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco resort in Italy, and the Pinterest-worthy “secret garden” has been the talk of Hollywood circuits. Upton’s bridal glow still beams through the images released from their private wedding, and is a more than just the radiance of a woman in love.
To complement her lace detailed Valentino bridal gown, makeup artist Tracy Murphy and hairstylist John Ruggiero created a Grace Kelly inspired look for the supermodel. Sharing details on the bridal beauty, Tracy reveals that, “after her crazy travel days, I wanted to extra pamper her.”

Skincare
The artist prepped the bride’s skin KARUNA SKIN Hydrating Mask, “while they ate breakfast and chatted.” She then proceeded to massage a concoction of TAMMY FENDER’S Bulgarian Rose Water, Awakening Eye Gel, Quintessential Serum and Spontaneous Recovery Crème. “The combination of these magical products made her skin incredibly hydrated and glowing—it’s all about a flawless canvas.” She finished her pamper routine with a, “dab of MAC Cosmetics Strobe Cream mixed in for non stop glow too!”
Makeup
Kate Upton’s radiance is part genetics and part Murphy’s understated and natural technique highlighting her best assets, her eyes. As Kate held a bouquet of roses in varying shades of pink, her makeup and romantic hairdo complemented the blushing bride in a very princess-y way. On her makeup, Murphy says, “I swear by the ALCONE sponges to apply my favorite KOH GEN DO Maifanshi Moisture Foundation in 123 and 003 and LANCÔME Effacernes Concealer in ‘Light Buff’ for undereye.”
“I love the SHU UMERO curler to open the eyes. I used a few lash inserts to exaggerate her eye shape with plenty of MAYBELLINE waterproof mascara in blackest black.” She then finished her eyes with MAKEUP FOREVER black Waterproof Eyeliner liquid liner to give a little demure wing. The eye was completed with URBAN DECAY eyeshadow primer and SURRATT BEAUTY’s nude shadow ‘Greige’ which added the finishing touch the dreamy look. “MAC lipstick in ‘Jubilee’ followed with BEAUTYPIE gloss in ‘Brown Sugar’ was finally used to prep the pout.”
Kate’s second look for the after party was much bolder with sultry hues. The bride’s strong brows where filled in with ANASTASIA Beverly Hills brow pencil and Clear Brow Gel to set in place. “For the second look of the night, we went for ‘Drama’ and quickly changed her into a dark mouth with MAC Antique Velvet Lipstick and ‘Burgundy’ lip pencil. I swiped on NARSissist shadow in ‘Stud’ and she ran off and danced the night away.”
Hair
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Ruggiero revealed that, “Kate is the most low maintenance, easy-going, down to earth woman when it comes to her hair.” He created carefree glam curls using with a blast of dry shampoo and MOROCCANOIL Root Boost. He shared with the website that, “next he used a one inch curling iron to create tight coils throughout her entire head and sprayed each section with medium hairspray. After letting the curls cool during her make-up application, he applied frizz-fighting spray, brushed them out and then lightly teased them using MOROCCANOIL Boar Bristle Teasing Brush. To finish, he pulled a section on the right side of her head back and secured with bobby pins and set the style with MOROCCANOIL Luminous Hairspray Strong. ‘I wanted her hair to be very simple and not take away from the veil but still have a bit of glamour to it,’ John said.”
